Wuthering Waves Version 1.2 [In the Turquoise Moonglow] is releasing on August 15, 2024, and the developers behind the game have shared with us what we can expect from the new version.

The new version will feature two new 5-star characters that players can pull for. They are Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao.

Alongside the two new characters, the new version will also offer their 5-star signature weapons, Rime-Draped Sprouts (Rectifier) and Verity’s Handle (Gauntlets).
Players can expect Rime-Draped Sprouts to appear in the first phase of version 1.2 and Verity’s Handle in the second.

New Companion Story
In the new version, players can take up the [True Colors] companion story, which will let them get a better understanding of the new character Zhezhi.
New Phantom Echo
In Version 1.2, players can participate in the new iteration of the Depths of Illusive Realm to get a new Phantom skin from the Dreamless Echo.

Reprise of Tides is Wuthering Waves’ iteration of a Returnee Event. Up until now, there wasn’t a returnee event for players, but this will change with the release of version 1.2.
Reprise of Tides will allow players to complete a series of check-ins and other tasks to receive rewards.
