There are a ton of changes that are coming with this new round of testing for Zenless Zone Zero.

The most major ones have to do with the monitor-style gameplay, changes to already existing systems, and others. Below you can check out all of the upcoming changes.

Accelerated Playback

The monitor gameplay of ZZZ was one of the features in the game that got the most feedback, and not of the good kind.

This feature was one that got the whole community talking, and it seems like the developers behind Zenless Zone Zero have also been thinking about it.

For this new round of testing, players will now get the option of exploring the Hollows at double the speed, which will hopefully alleviate some of the negative feelings that came with this mode.

Handbook

The Handbook is a newly added feature to the game that functions more as a quality-of-life feature than anything else.

It allows players to quickly navigate to the VR Device or HDD System to save them some hassle when playing the ZZZ.

Time Cycle

Another new feature added to the Amplifying Test is the addition of a day-night cycle in the game. Players will now get to experience the world of Zenless Zone Zero in four cycles circling from early morning to late evening.

Furthermore, the developers also mentioned that some shops only work during certain cycles and you can only meet certain Agents during specific times of the day. Although nothing major this system is sure to bring more immersion into the game, though for some it may also seem a bit tedious so you should check it out for yourselves and decide how you feel about it.

The Hollow Codex is a newly added library system where you are able to go back and check out various events that you encounter during your exploration of the Hollows. It works like any other archive-type system in other games.

Phaethon's Archive is an extension of the Hollow Codex that records all enemies you have encountered.

In the Phaethon's Archive, you will be able to check out all the enemies you've fought against and see their strengths and weaknesses to help you better prepare for fights against them in the future.

Inter-Knot

The Inter-Knot is the account level in Zenless Zone Zero and is the feature that determines how much you can level up your characters.

It works in a similar way to HoYoverse's other games - Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, where you have to level your account up to a certain point, then undertake an ascension mission to unlock new levels for your account, and simultaneously new level cap for your characters.

With this test players will be able to reach an even higher level than before, giving everyone the chance to experience a new layer of difficulty.
