Zenless Zone Zero is the newest gacha game by HoYoverse that offers thrilling action combat and a ton of characters for people to choose from.

However, with a lot of characters comes the problem of having to build them all and needing a lot of resources.

In ZZZ, players can farm for resources in the Training mode by spending Battery Charge. Unfortunately, you cannot do this indefinitely because Battery Charge is not infinite and slowly regenerates over time.

Luckily, there are ways to quickly recover Battery Charge, and in this guide, we’ll share all of them with you.

What is Battery Charge

Battery Charge is ZZZ’s stamina system, and it is what allows players to farm materials to level up their characters, W-Engines, and more.

Battery Charge has a cap of 240, and after you consume some of it, it begins regenerating at a rate of 1 Battery Charge per 6 minutes.

This means that you get a total of 240 Battery Charge every 24 hours.

NOTE: Battery Charge only regenerates when it drops below 240, so make sure you always spend it before it caps, or it won't regenerate.

This wait time is one of the annoying aspects of gacha games as it hinders your progress and doesn’t allow you to increase your character’s power, but luckily there are other ways to go about getting Battery Charge rather than just waiting.

How to Get Battery Charge

There are three main ways to get Battery Charge. Those are:

  • Waiting
  • Drinking Coffee
  • Using Items or Polychromes

Waiting

Battery Charge regenerates at a rate of 1 every 6 minutes, so waiting is naturally the best way to get a lot of Batter Charge, but as we all know, it is also the most tedious one, and it’s especially annoying at the start of the game when you want to play a lot.

Drinking Coffee

The developers behind Zenless Zone Zero know that you need powerful characters and that you need Battery Charge to do this, so they have decided to give an extra boost of Battery Charge to players by introducing the Coffe Shop in the game.

You unlock the Coffee Shop sometime during Chapter 1 of the main story, and it allows you to get a specific Coffee daily, which restores 60 Battery Charge. You can find the Coffee Shop on Sixth Street, or you can instantly teleport there after you unlock the fast-travel feature.

This 60 Battery Charge can go on top of your 240 cap, so you can technically overcap your Battery Charge to 300 or even more.

You only get 1 coffee per day, and this resets every day with the server’s day reset, not the in-game day reset.

Using Items

The final way you can recharge your Battery Charge is by using items or Polychromes.

Ether Battery is an item that restores 60 Battery Charge instantly, allowing you to play or grind more. This item can be found in events, the game’s battle pass, or gifts given out by the developers.

The other way to recharge Battery Charge is by using Polychromes, which are the game’s premium currency. You can use 50 Polychrome to recharge 60 Battery Charge up to 8 times per day.

However, note that each time you recharge, the cost increases, so be mindful if you are okay with spending the precious Polychromes to recharge your stamina or if you’d rather just wait and do something else.
