Miyabi is one of two new characters in Zenless Zone Zero, and she is without a doubt the most powerful unit we currently have in the game. Miyabi is a powerhouse capable of destroying any type of content with ease. She is a self-sustaining unit that can output a ton of damage by herself, and she becomes even better when paired with other Agents, be they Ice or any other element.

Is Miyabi Strong
Yes, she is. Despite being an Anomaly character, Miyabi scales based on CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. While CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG substats are the hardest to find and always seem to escape our luck, they are also a ton of fun to play and provide constant DMG output, unlike burst characters such as Jane Doe.
Miyabi is also the first character to be part of the Frost Element. The frost element is a unique variation of the Ice Element that has its own Anomalies, which can trigger Disorder even with the Ice element. This makes Miyabi extremely versatile. She can fit both into regular teams as well as mono-ice teams and still not lose out on any damage.
The only drawback that Miyabi has is that she is really dependent on CRIT Rate. If you do not have her signature weapon, you might find it hard to reach the 80% CRIT Rate that her kit requires to get the most out of her damage. This drawback is even further enhanced by the fact that Miyabi is an Anomaly character, and the Anomaly specialty does not have any W-Engines that provide CRIT Rate. Apart from Miyabi’s Signature W-Engine, that is. So you might find it a bit hard to build Miyabi unless you have her signature W-Engine. But even without it, she is still one amazing character that by far outshines any other DPS unit we’ve gotten since release.

Should You Pull for Miyabi
Yes. I honestly believe that Miyabi is a great investment for any account. She is a ridiculously powerful DPS that is unlikely to be power crept anytime soon. She is also ZZZ’s golden child and a character that has been expected ever since the early betas of the game. It is clear that the developers love Miyabi, so she is likely only to get better with time. Even if you have Ellen, and even if you have other DPS characters that you already use, Miyabi will certainly find a place in any team that you’re rocking right now and will not make it worse. If you have the wishes, go for her!
