The newest version for ZZZ is drawing closer and is about to hit the game in two days on September 25, 2024. Given this, the developers behind Zenless Zone Zero have finally decided to give us a sneak peek at what kind of characters we can expect to be released in the following 1.3 updates.
The first character they have revealed today is one that we’ve encountered numerous times already and was even a great help to us when first clearing Hollow Zero. This character is Tsukishiro Yanagi, a spear-wielding Agent from the Section 6 faction.

Tsukishiro Yanagi is an Electric Anomaly Agent from Section 6 who uses a spear to slay her enemies and bring justice. She uses the tall female model, has long pinkish hair, and is dressed in normal office-style clothes, with a huge oni shoulder pad on her right shoulder.
Yanagi is the Deputy Chief of Section 6 and is thus quite a big shot amongst the Agents in ZZZ, while also one of the stronger canonical characters.
For those who’ve unlocked Infernal Reap, you’ve likely already seen Yanagi in action when she was helping us during the mission. From there, we can see that Tsukishiro Yanagi is a fast character with the Electric Attribute. However, that is still yet to be officially announced by HoYoverse, so take it with a grain of salt.
There is unfortunately no information about her rarity, but we do know that she will be coming out in Version 1.3, so we’ll figure that out eventually!
