Zenless Zone Zero is about to wrap up a big chapter of its main story with the introduction of Chapter 5 [A Storm of Falling Stars]. This chapter will cover the activities of the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 characters and reveal more details about the world of New Eridu.

Chapter 5 Overview
Chapter 5 will take the proxies on a mission with the members of Hollow Special Operations Section 6 characters. In previous chapters, players have visited the Cunning Hares, Belobog Heavy Industries, Victoria Housekeeping Co., Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, and the Sons of Calydon. Now in Chapter 5 we will get more information about Section 6 and get to spend more time with its characters.
Chapter 5 will also mark the end of the current Main Story and will aim to tie everything that has been revealed up until now while also giving us some new information about upcoming developments. Ever since the release of the game, players have only been introduced to the factions we have listed above, so it is only right for Chapter 5 to be the end of the current story, as it will cover the final faction. As Version 1.4 etches closer, the developers behind Zenless Zone Zero have already revealed a new faction known as the Stars of Lyra. This faction is anticipated to make an appearance in Version 1.5 with the characters Astra Yao and Evelyn. There is not much information about this faction as of yet. Fans anticipate that we will get more information about this new faction and its characters in Chapter 5, so look forward to that!

How to Unlock
To unlock Chapter 5 [A Storm of Falling Stars], players must first complete the following story missions:
- Main Story Chapter 4 [Tour de Inferno]
- Special Episode [Virtual Revenge]
Upon completing both of these story missions, you will be able to start chapter 5.
Chapter 5 Release Date
Chapter 5 will be released alongside Version 1.4 on December 18, 2024. The chapter will be permanently available after its release. Players will get no benefit for completing it fast or within a set time frame, so take your time if you do not wish to start it right after the version release.

Who Will We Encounter in Chapter 5
From the trailers revealed for Version 1.4, we are expected to encounter a ton of characters in Chapter 5. This includes not only characters from Section 6 but also friends from other factions, which we’ve met throughout our journey. The chapter is set to be the culmination of the current part of the main story, so we can expect a ton of great cutscenes, lore drops, and a lot of fun to be had!
