Yanagi is a limited S-Rank Electric Anomaly Agent who is part of the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 faction. She is a powerful DPS character that is able to deal a ton of damage with Disorder triggers while also dealing additional damage thanks to her [Polarity Disorder] effect, which is a lesser but still powerful version of the Disorder effect.
Due to her reliance on triggering Disorder to deal a ton of damage, Yanagi is best played with other Agents who are able to build up anomaly quickly. The best case scenario for this is Burnice, who is able to apply Burn ridiculously fast, which leads to some amazing disorder hits. Having said that, Jane Doe makes an excellent teammate for Yanagi.
However, Yanagi can still proc Disorder even without other allies, so running her in a monoelectric team is quite possible as well. Overall, she is a really fast Agent, with a unique playstyle that focuses on switching her stances and constantly applying Shock on enemies so that she can later trigger Disorder.

Yanagi Best W-Engines
When it comes to W-Engines Yanagi’s signature W-Engine the Timeweaver pulls out ahead by a huge margin, with no other Anomaly W-Engine coming close. It simply benefits Yanagi way too much thanks to its Anomaly Buildup Rate increase, flat Disorder DMG boost, and just pure ATK stats. That being said, Yanagi can still do well with some F2P craftable options, so you can still pull for her even if you’re not planning on pulling for the W-Engine.
Rank | W-Engine | Effect |
1 | Timeweaver |
The equipper's Electric Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 30%. When Special Attacks or EX Special Attacks hit enemies under Attribute Anomalies, the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency increases by 75 for 15s. When the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency is greater than or equal to 375, Disorder DMG inflicted by the equipper increases by 25%. |
2 | Fusion Compiler |
Increases ATK by 12%. When using a Special Attack or EX Special Attack, the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency is increased by 25 for 8s, stacking up to 3 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |

3 | Weeping Gemini |

Yanagi Best Disk Drives
For Disk Drives, you’ll want to rock four pieces of the Chaos Jazz Set combined with two pieces of the Freedom Blues. This combination will allow your Yanagi to deal the most amount of damage possible.

Yanagi Skill Priority
Finally, for skills, you’ll first want to focus on Yanagi’s Core, followed by her Special, Ultimate, Basic, Assist, and finally Dodge skills. Given that most of Yanagi’s damage comes from her Disorder and Polarity Disorder procs you’ll mostly want to build up her Core and special, as those are the ones directly tied to the damage of her Disorder triggers. Everything else can come after!
