  • Go back to your loadout and select a second primary weapon.

Gunner Vest:

  • Pros: Spawns with full ammo reserves and faster reload speed (thanks to the Mag Hoster equipment).
  • Cons: Can't use any Boots, which means losing benefits like silent footsteps. If you equip Mag Holster with this vest, one of the benefits is replaced by a Mission Control Comlink to earn killstreaks faster.

Overkill Vest:

  • Pros: Allows two primary weapons, faster weapon swapping, and reloading while sprinting.
  • Cons: Loses the Field Upgrade. If equipped with Quick-Grip or Commando Gloves, their effect is negated and replaced by the benefit of Marksman Gloves.

Which Vest is Better?

The Overkill Vest often seems the better choice for those who value versatility without sacrificing major benefits.

Why Use Two Primary Weapons in MW3?

Having two primary weapons offers great flexibility. For instance, a sniper rifle is great for long-range but not for close combat. By carrying a second primary weapon suited for different situations, you can be effective in both long and close-range encounters. This versatility is why many players opt for two primary weapons in their loadout.

Remember, the right gear can greatly enhance your gameplay, offering you flexibility and a tactical edge in various combat scenarios. Experiment with both vests to find the perfect match for your playing style. Good luck, and enjoy the enhanced firepower in your next MW3 battle!
