Fortnite Music Mode New Leak: Everything We Know, Explained

Fortnite Chapter 5 is so close to launch! Fortnite leakers suggest that it might bring a brand new musical event, which sounds beyond exciting. Here's all we know so far.

About the Event

The Rhythm or Music mode will be a fun festival for players, featuring popular hits from beloved artists. Players can enjoy playing the guitar, drums, and bass to complete objectives and earn rewards. Rumors suggest that the mode will be heavily based on Harmonix's Rock Band Game Series - a very popular game from the 2000s-2010s.

Modes and More Leaked Details

As expected, there will be four types of songs - Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Players can compete against each other in Music Battles or against a Local Friend. Of course, you can also try out the mechanics in Solo Mode.

A cool feature is the ability to play this Fortnite Music Mode with your friends. The game will allow you to form a music band, which sounds like so much fun.

Songs can be filtered by Artists, Title, and Year, and they can be added to custom playlists to help you jump into the game quicker.

Scores and Leaderboards

While playing, the "musicians" can hit gems that are added as a bonus score. After the end of the song, you'll be awarded stars that will round up your final score. Leakers have already released the names of the artists whose songs will join the Fortnite Rhythm Mode. There's a bit of everything, so all players can find songs they like - pop, rock, alternative, and so on. The mentioned names so far are Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, Toto, Imagine Dragons, and Alice Cooper.
