The popular Fortnitemares event has made its annual return to Fortnite, commencing on October 10th. This event, hosted by Epic Games, treats players to a fresh array of Halloween-themed in-game quests, cosmetics, rewards, limited-time modes (LTM), and more.

The Wood Stake Shotgun can be discovered as floor loot and within containers such as chests and Holo Chests scattered across the island. Notably, this weapon stands out not only in appearance but also in its unique firing of wooden stakes instead of traditional shotgun pellets.
Once you acquire a Wood Stake Shotgun, you'll find it functions similarly to any other shotgun in Fortnite, ideal for close-range combat against both vampires and enemy players.
The shotgun boasts impressive damage stats, with a magazine size of four shots, making every shot count. If you're fortunate enough to come across the Mythic version known as the "High Stakes' Shotgun," all of its stats receive enhancements, except for fire rate and magazine size, which remain unchanged.
