When Does Winterfest 2023 Start In Fortnite? Potential Release Date & Details

Winterfest is an annual Fortnite event that takes place every December. This holiday event usually brings new Christmas-themed skins as well as some changes to the Battle Royale map. This year, December has already been filled with so much new content in Fortnite, from the new LEGO survival mode all the way to a new Guitar Hero type Festival event. Even after all of these new additions, players are still interested in the annual Christmas celebration. Fortnite Winterfest 2023 Release Date

Epic games have not yet confirmed the actual release date for the 2023 Winterfest event, but we can make an educated guess based on the past few years. Here are the release dates of the previous iterations of this event:

• Winterfest 2022 - December 13th
• Winterfest 2021 - December 16th
• Winterfest 2019 - December 17th

All of these events were also released after the usual maintenance on Tuesday. From all of this information we can make an educated guess that Winterfest 2023 is going to come out on either December 12th or December 19th after maintenance. Hopefully Epic Games releases it earlier so they can continue the streak of new content in the game.
