So far, the confirmed playable characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. More familiar faces could be joining the game post-release. However, Warner Bros. hasn't confirmed anything just yet.

Captain Boomerang

The infamous bank robber, Captain Boomerang, will be joining SS: KTJL. Known for his skill in throwing boomerangs, he is a lethal asset to the team. His personality is unpredictable and unhinged, adding a little chaos to the group dynamics.

  • Gameplay: Captain Boomerang's name gives away his unique skill - throwing boomerangs. They serve as his main melee attack from a closer range. However, it seems like he's best at long-range combat - Captain Boomerang specializes in Sniper Rifles, SMGs, and Shotguns as well.
In the gameplay trailer of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, we see Captain Boomerang picking up Flash's Speed Force Gauntlet, which lets him teleport forward to thrown boomerangs. This skill lets him close gaps and reposition in battle. So far it seems like he's the character in Suicide Squad who offers a little bit of every playstyle - melee, long-range, mobility.

  • Weapon: Boomerangs, Sniper Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns.

  • Special Skill: Teleportation

King Shark

King Shark shows up in the second Suicide Squad movie, however, DC fans have known him for a while. He's also known as Nanaue, and according to his lore, he's strongest underwater, but in Suicide Squad: KTJL, we'll be seeing King Shark take down enemies on land.

  • Gameplay: King Shark is the tank in the Suicide Squad team. He uses various weapons, and the signature one is a minigun. However, fans know this is not canon in the DC Universe. For melee combat, King Shark relies on Cleavers, Knives, and Sickles, which also doesn't go well with his canon character. His leaping and dashing mid-air add more to his movement on the arena. King Shark seems to be the character who will be tanking a lot of the incoming damage from the enemies, as well as using heavy firearms.

  • Weapon: Shotguns, Heavy Weapons, Assault Rifles, Cleavers, Knives, and Sickles.

  • Special Skill: Leaping and dashing mid-air

Deadshot

Deadshot
Warner Bros. Games

Deadshot is one of the most beloved characters from the Suicide Squad movies, alongside Harley Quinn. His real name is Floyd Lawton, and he's a mercenary, known as DC's best marksman.

  • Gameplay: As expected, Deadshot is great with Sniper rifles, Assault rifles, and Pistols. He has a jet-pack, which allows him to fly around the map and reposition for better long shots. He's not viable as a melee character, and he only does damage from afar, away from the action. However, he does have melee damage, shooting wrist cannons at the enemies. As play-style, Deadshot will be in the back lines, shooting enemies down.

  • Weapons: Sniper rifles, Assault rifles, Pistols.

  • Special Skill: Uses Jet-Pack to fly

Harley Quinn

In the past couple of years, Harley Quinn has turned into one of DC's most beloved characters and the face of Suicide Squad. In Suicide Squad: KJL, we see a Margot Robbie-inspired version of her, which has been the go-to visual for her in the comics for a while now. We all know her story so far, starting as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, becoming Joker's henchman, and later on parting her ways with him.

  • Gameplay: Harley Quinn can use guns like the other characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but she also gets to go into battle with her iconic bat. This melee weapon is great for close-range attacks.
Harley can shorten the distance with Batman's grappling gun and drone, which makes her a very mobile character. She relies on momentum and quick movement over the map. This means Harley can both easily chase down targets and escape sticky situations.

  • Weapon: Baseball.

  • Special Skill: Uses Batman's grapple and drone

Upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Characters

Although there are only 4 playable characters upon release, there could be new additions in the near future. Fans are speculating a new version of the Joker could be playable in Suicide Squad: KTJL. In this universe, he is a part of the Suicide Squad, so it won't be surprising if he's available to play, probably introducing poison and more explosives to the game.

These were the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League available to play characters. We'll keep you updated on everything revolving around this game.
