Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the newest DC game, taking place a year after Batman: Arkham Knight, which means we will be reintroduced to a lot of familiar faces from the DC Universe. In this article, we will take a look at all of the DC characters who will appear in Suicide Squad: KTJL.

Harley Quinn

Obviously, the face of the Suicide Squad will be joining the team. Harley is one of the main characters and will be playable, bringing her signature bat to the battlefield. Her playstyle will be highly mobile. As for her story, Dr. Harleen Quinzel meets the Joker while he's in Arkham Asylum. Different comics present different ways of her becoming 'Harley Queen,' but at the end of the day, she's always Joker's henchman. In the current DC canon, both of them have parted ways.

King Shark

King Shark shows up in the second Suicide Squad movie; however, DC fans have known him for a while. He's also known as Nanaue, and according to his lore, he's strongest underwater, but in Suicide Squad: KTJL, we'll be seeing King Shark take down enemies on land. In the game, he's a playable character who, unfortunately, doesn't use his natural abilities, such as his teeth and strength.

Captain Boomerang

The infamous bank robber, Captain Boomerang, will be joining Suicide Squad: KTJL. Known for his skill in throwing boomerangs, he is a deadly asset to the team. His personality is unpredictable and unhinged, adding a little chaos and comedy to the group dynamics.

Deadshot

Deadshot is one of the most beloved characters from the Suicide Squad movies, alongside Harley Quinn. His real name is Floyd Lawton, and he's a mercenary known as DC's best marksman. Deadshot is one of the four playable characters in Suicide Squad: KTJL, relying on long-range combat.

Amanda Waller

Amanda is the person who created Task Force X (or Suicide Squad). We already see her in the trailers, so we're sure we can expect her to show up in Suicide Squad: KTJL. We get a glimpse of Waller communicating with the team via devices when they're in the field or in-person at the Hall of Justice.

Brainiac

Brainiac is the main antagonist in the Suicide Squad: KTJL story, voiced by Jason Isaacs, known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series. He recently lent his voice to another gaming villain - Baldur's Gate 3's Gortach. Brainiac has taken control over Metropolis, brainwashing the Justice League, and now the Suicide Squad needs to stop him.

Although the game is set in Metropolis, it seems the plot revolves around Batman's universe. After all, Suicide Squad: KTJL is set five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight and involves lots of well-known Bat-villains - Harley, Joker, Penguin, and Poison Ivy.

We'll also get to see Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman, all under Brainiac's control. The heroes are now evil, turning into a threat that needs to be stopped.

The Joker

Yes, the Joker is making an appearance in the game. However, keeping in mind that the plot is set after Batman: Arkham Knight, this is a brand new Joker. Surprisingly, he'll be a part of the Suicide Squad, making lots of DC players think he might become a playable character in the future.

Lex Luthor

Superman's enemy will be an important part of Suicide Squad: KTJL's plot. This time the wealthy businessman, scientist, and inventor will need to be saved from the corrupted Justice League.

Rick Flag

Colonel Rick Flag is Amanda Waller's second-in-command, with whom he staged a riot at Blackgate Prison in Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate. In Suicide Squad: KTJL, we see him working closely with Task Force X but not being a huge fan of them.

There are multiple characters who have taken up the persona of Toyman. The original and most well-known version is Winslow Schott, who's an inventor and a deadly toymaker. His toys will be a huge advantage to the Suicide Squad, just like Gizmo's gadgets.

Hack

Hack is a superhero associated with the Global Guardians and has the ability to access and manipulate computer systems and technology. She will support Suicide Squad: KTJL players with her Digital ghost abilities, updating their neck bombs and overall abilities.

Penguin

A well-known Batman villain is returning! In Suicide Squad: KTJL, he has left Gotham and is living in Metropolis and running an illegal business. He will help the main characters from Task Force X by giving them weapons.

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy will be back, but she's not who she used to be. Suicide Squad: KTJL is set after Batman: Arkham Knight, in which she sacrificed herself to beat Scarecrow's fear toxin. Since she died, in the game, we're seeing a reincarnated child version of her, which goes by just 'Ivy' and has a pet plant named Daphne. She was raised in Lex Luthor's lab but managed to escape.
