Beauty in Black is a Netflix series created by Tyler Perry. However, things are bound to become extremely complicated when their worlds collide. Beauty In Black Does Rain Die
No, Rain doesn't die. After it becomes clear that she was admitted to the hospital, Kimmie becomes her regular visitor, remaining by her side during one of the most difficult moments. Of course, her boss at the club disapproves of her absence because it makes him lose too much money. Soon, at one of the visitations, Kimmie is told by the staff at the hospital that Rain has passed away because of surgery complications. Kimmie finds that to be extremely suspicious, especially considering that her employer had such a big issue with her visiting Rain so often.
However, at the end of Season 1 of Beauty in Black, Kimmie gets a call from Rain while she and Angel are trying to run away from the robbery scene at Horace's house. Rain tells her friend that she wasn't in the hospital because she got moved to a different one, and although Kimmie couldn't be happier to find out that her friend was alive, she's still wondering why the staff lied and told her that Rain is dead.

Yes, it turns out that Rain is still alive, but this doesn't make the situation clear at all. The more Kimmie thinks about the lie she heard from the hospital staff, the more she starts to suspect that her boss might be targeting Rain. That's also the reason why she insists on seeing her in the new hospital so much. Sounds logical, right? Especially if you're worried about a close friend.
Angel doesn't seem to support her idea and tries to convince her to stop getting involved in dangerous scenarios. However, he ends up agreeing to go visit Rain but only for a short time. When they get there, Kimmie wants to stay longer and make sure that nothing's wrong with Rain, but Angel keeps warning her that they need to leave, as he has many reasons to believe that Horace has already sent people after them.
