Best Animes to Watch in the Beginning of 2024

2023 was an amazing year for the anime fans. Some of the greatest anime titles of all time got new sequels, while many highly anticipated new adaptations also got released. However, it seems that 2024 will be just as generous in terms of long-awaited and exciting releases.

Kaiju No. 8 

The manga introduces a world where the Japanese population is threatened by monsters called Kaiju. A professional group named the Defence Force is responsible for the safety of the civilians.

The main character, Kafka Hibino, has tried numerous times to join the Defence Force but failed. Instead, he became a part of the cleanup crew that cleans after the combats between the Defence Force and the Kaiju.

However, one day a small Kaiju flew into Kafka’s mouth and he became stronger as he got the ability to turn himself into half-Kaiju. Now, he finally has a chance to fight alongside the Defence Force and make his wish come true.

Blue Lock Movie: “Episode Nagi”

The movie will be based on a Blue Lock spinoff manga series where the main character is not Yoichi Isagi but the football genius Nagi Seishiro. The movie will follow Nagi’s origin story before he joined the Blue Lock program. It will show us how he became a football prodigy despite his laziness and easy-going personality.

Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling is finally getting its long-anticipated anime adaptation. The anime is based on a popular Korean Manhwa that introduces a world with a lot of MMORPG elements.

A part of the population is gifted with powers thanks to which they can acquire a job as a hunter. Their responsibility? They have to enter dungeons, defeat all the monsters that are inside, and acquire items after their victories.

Hunters are ranked based on their powers, and the main character Sung Jin-woo is known as the world’s weakest hunter. Once a person receives their abilities, they can never upgrade their powers, no matter how hard they try. However, during one double-dungeon raid, Sung Jin-woo receives a “quest” that allows him to become stronger. 

Sung Jin-woo’s condition is the first of its kind and will change his life as a hunter forever.

My Hero Academia: Season 7

The upcoming season of My Hero Academia will show the audience the consequences after the main villain All for One was set free from prison. This season is going to reveal a lot of mysteries, some of which might be a total shock for the audience. Haikyuu the Movie: The Battle at the Garbage Dump

This movie is going to be the first of two that are going to conclude the volleyball anime.

This long-awaited return of Haikyuu will go over the match between Karasuno and Nekoma. Fans will finally get the chance to see the end of the long-lasting rivalry between the two teams.

Delicious in Dungeon

The protagonist of the story, Laois, accompanied by his teammates, sets out to rescue his little sister from being eaten by a dragon during a dungeon raid.

However, the group lost most of their supplies during the adventure which led to them looking for other means of providing food for themselves. Luckily for them, a dwarf named Senshi assisted them by teaching them how to properly cook the different monsters that reside inside the dungeon.

Mushoku Tensei: Season 2 Part 2

Soon after the end of Part 1, fans are getting the new part of Mushoku Tensei’s Season 2.

A Sign of Affection

The main character of the anime is Yuki Itose, a college student who, like other girls her age, is interested in fashion. Her life slightly differs from her friends, though, as she is deaf and communicates only through her phone or by using sign language.

One day, she comes across a handsome and charismatic boy named Itsuomi Nagi. It seems like the two of them can get along well despite her inability to hear. Yuki starts to develop a crush on her new friend, but did she really find someone who is patient enough and can love her unconditionally?
