With the release of Season 3 in Black Clover M players finally got introduced to the Clover Academy lineup of the game. This lineup consists of Jack, Charlotte and Fuegoleon.

Clover Academy Jack is the newest Sense Attacker to join the roster in Black Clover M. Jack is the Captain of the [Green Praying Mantises] and is a recurring character in the Black Clover anime.

In the game S3 Jack takes the role of a single-target attacker that is going to be an interesting addition to various teams. Here is how to build him right!

Clover Academy Jack Skills

S3 Jack does great in single-target scenarios and is able to inflict [Bleed] on enemies while also performing a number of [Additional Attacks]. Below is the full breakdown of his skills!

SKILL 1

Three-Point Slash

Delivers swift slices on an enemy, dealing damage.
- Inflicts [Bleed] on an enemy, dealing continuous damage for 2 turns.
- When the enemy is afflicted with [Bleed] has a 50% chance to [Stun] him.

SKILL 2

I'll Slice You Up!

Slices up an enemy, dealing damage.
- Applies 1 stack of [Miscalculation] to self.
- Applies [Increased PEN Lv. 2] to self for 2 turn(s).
- Applies [Increased ACC Lv. 2] to self for 2 turn(s).

SKILL 3

Golden Ratio of Severance

Throws a giant protractor triangle at an enemy, dealing damage.
- Perform an [Additional Attack] per stack of [Miscalculated], dealing additional damage equal to 80% of ATK and M. ATK to a random enemy.
- Inflict [Stun] for 1 turn on the designated target.

SKILL 4

Combined Attack

Performs a combined attack with your partner, dealing damage to an enemy.
- [Dispel Barrier] from the target before attacking.
- Perform an [Additional Attack], dealing additional damage equal to 30% of ATK and M. ATK to a random enemy.

Similar to other DPS units, Clover Academy Jack does best when built with Crit Rate and Crit DMG in mind, as such we recommend that you use 3 sets of 2-piece gears. The full sets and stats can be seen below!

Similar to other Attackers S3 Jack can reach his full potential when using talents that boost his personal damage. Here are the talents we recommend for him!

Attack Talents:

Increased ATK - [ATK] +7%
Battle Frenzy - Grants 2.5% [Increased CRIT Rate] at the start of a wave. (Stacks up to 5 times)

Defense Talents:

Increased DEF - [DEF] +20%
Endurance - Grants [DEF] +4% and [CRIT RES] +2% at the start of a wave. (Stacks up to 5 times.)

Support Talents:

Mage’s Blessing - 20% chance to grant a [Reduced Skill II’s Cooldown by 1 Turn] buff at the start of a turn.
Increased ACC and PEN - [ACC] +5% & [PEN] +5%

All in all S3 Jack is a good addition to the roster, and an interesting one at that. Although he is lacking when it comes to other single-target DPS units such as Rhya or Julius, if built right Clover Academy Jack can certainly dish out some great damage and find a place in your teams!
