Black Clover M: Kahono Best Build Guide, Kit, More

Black Clover M started off 2024 strong with an addition of two new characters, the siblings, Kahono and Kiato. Both are interesting units to pull for and build, and in this guide we’ll be going over Kahono, the newest healer in the game, and share with you all there is to know about her!

Who is Kahono

Kahono is the newest character added to Black Clover M. She is a Technique Healer that is part of the Underwater Temple just like her brother, Kiato. Although she is somewhat lacking compared to some of the other dedicated healers like: S1 Mimosa and S2 Charmy, Kahono is a great pick to keep your team alive, as long as you build her that is! Here is how we suggest building Kahono.

Kahono is a dedicated healer who also offers a number of buffs to her teammates, helping you clear some of the harder content of the game. Here is the full breakdown of her skills.

SKILL 1

Cross Slash

• Cross slashes an enemy with two swords, dealing damage.
  • Upon having a [Buff], attacks after applying 15% [Increased DMG] to yourself.

SKILL 2

Swirling Torrent

• Slashes all enemies with a rapidly spinning force, dealing damage.
  • Attack after applying a 10% [Increased CRIT Rate] buff to self for each [Buff] affecting yourself.

SKILL 3

Dancing Vortex

• Slashes an enemy with a sword in a dancing motion, dealing damage.
  • Upon having 2 or more [Buff(s)], the skill will be a guaranteed CRIT.
  • Attack after applying a 15% [Increased ACC] buff to self for each [Buff] affecting yourself.

SKILL 4

 

Combined Attack

• Performs a combined attack with your partner, dealing damage to an enemy.
  • If an enemy is taking [Continuous Damage], applies 30% [Increased DMG] to yourself before attacking.

Kahono Best Gears

Similar to other healers, Kahono does best when built with survivability in mind so that she can continue supplying heals to the team for as long as possible. As such we suggest building her with 3 2-piece sets that focus on keeping her alive! MAIN DEF AND HP, same for subs

Kahono Best Talents

Kahono's best talents, similar to her gears focus on increasing her survivability and helping her stay alive so that she can continue healing her teammates. These are the talents that we suggest unlocking on her!

Attack Talents:

• Increased MATK - [MATK] +7%
• Battle Frenzy - Grants 2.5% [Increased CRIT Rate] at the start of a wave. (Stacks up to 5 times)

Defense Talents:

• Increased DEF - [DEF] +20%
• Endurance - Grants [DEF] +4% and [CRIT RES] +2% at the start of a wave. (Stacks up to 5 times.)

Support Talents:

• Swiftness - Grants a [SP+1] buff upon having less than 2 SP(s) at the start of a turn.
• Increased DMG RES - [DMG RES] +10%

Being a healer means that Kahono doesn’t have the widest selection of Skill Pages that she can choose from, however, this doesn’t mean that she is not without any good options. Below you can see some good SSR and SR choices that you can put on her.

Summary

All in all, Kahono is an interesting addition to the Black Clover M healer roster, and although she doesn’t compare to the likes of S1 Mimosa and S2 Charmy, she is still a good healer to put on your team if you are lacking when it comes to survivability. Her full kit dedicated to healing and buffing means that you will be able to go through some tougher content, and if you have good DPS characters like Julius or S2 Noelle, then you are sure to breeze right through!
