Black Myth Wukong Best Defensive Spells
It's important to note that the Somersault Cloud is not included in this list since it cannot be used during combat situations and you can't apply it outside of Chapter 6 in Black Myth Wukong.
Immobilize
After you defeat the Bullguard at the beginning of Black Myth Wukong, you'll gain access to the Immobilize spell. It can prevent enemies from moving for a short period, allowing you to take a break from dodging and deal some damage.
If you time it well, you can also stagger the opponent and prolong the effect even further. However, be aware that enemies such as Black Bear Guai and Erlang Shen can recover very quickly from this spell.
A Pluck Of Many
A Pluck of Many is a very solid spell that spawns duplicates to deal damage and allows you to take a moment to recover your Health or recharge your weapons during combat.
It is especially powerful when fully upgraded, and if you haven't unlocked it yet, you can do so by defeating the Stone Vanguard boss in Chapter 2, Yellow Wind Ridge. Unfortunately, this boost uses a lot of Mana, and it has a long Cooldown time.

Ring Of Fire
You'll obtain the Ring of Fire after you beat the Macaque Chief boss in Chapter 3 for the second time, and if your Skill Tree is upgraded enough, you can turn this spell into one of the best defensive ones in the game.
It increases Focus, restores a good amount of your Health, and adds damage reduction. When you upgrade it fully, going out of the circle will not interrupt your Health recovery.
Rock Solid
Although Rock Solid is a helpful defensive spell, you should be aware that it requires a lot of skills and experience to be used properly. It can enhance your ability to perform a Perfect Parry, and it does it immediately.
It can also interrupt the combos of most enemies and even stagger them if done right. After you upgrade it, Rock Solid will reduce your Cooldown time as well, and it will give you more Focus. Some additional boosts include increased attack power and amount of Mana.
Cloud Step
The Cloud Step doesn't have any animation delays, and you can use it anytime the Monkey King is on his feet. It makes you invisible and leaves a decoy in your spot. When you use the Cloud Step, you'll also be able to heal and move to other parts of the arena.
When you upgrade it enough, your decoy will last longer, blasting a shockwave, and the Unveiling Strike's Critical Hit Change will stack for 10 seconds. Last but not least, you won't be disappointed by the spell's Mana cost and Cooldown time.
