Black Myth Wukong - How To Defeat Cloudtreading Deer

Black Myth Wukong How To Find The Cloudtreading Deer

Start from the Verdant Path Keeper's Shrine and go straight to the Golden Rhino boss arena. From the Rhino Watch Slope Keeper's Shrine, use the Somersault Cloud and move towards the red trees until you find the Deer Sight Forest Keeper's Shrine.

Once you have interacted with the Keeper's Shrine, go around it and walk in the direction of the giant tree. This will trigger a cutscene that will begin the fight against the Cloudtreading Deer.

Black Myth Wukong How To Defeat The Cloudtreading Deer Phase I

Remember that the Immobilize Spell is your best friend during the battle with the Cloudtreading Deer. Use it to deal as much damage as you can, and when the boss reaches 70% Health, he will spawn tornados to kill you. Avoid the tiny storms and try to get close to him. Make sure to lure him out of the tornado zone, because otherwise, you won't be able to reach him at all.

If you see the Cloudtreading Deer jump, look up to the sky immediately; he will stomp quickly at your location, causing Chill damage to build up. We recommend preparing some Curios and Pills that increase your Poison and Chill Resistance for this boss fight.

Once you kill the Cloudtreading Deer, he will quickly recover his full Health, and his attacks will start covering the whole area under you with blood. Avoid the liquid since it inflicts the Poison Bane effect, which causes damage over time. After the boss screams, the balls of blood around him will shoot towards you at an incredible speed.

Dodge them and never give into the temptation to use your Light Attack Combo, because it'll get interrupted. Be careful with the Cloudtreading Deer's front legs as well; he stomps on the ground a lot, and when he does it in pools of blood, he will take half of your Health away and force you to lie on the ground for a while.
