Black Myth Wukong - How To Beat Giant Shigandang

Apart from all the main bosses that Black Myth Wukong has to offer, the game gives you the opportunity to face some secret enemies that will drop additional rewards once you defeat them.

One of these opponents is the Giant Shigandang, who can be found in the final Chapter of the story. In this guide, we'll show you how to find and beat the Giant Shigandang boss in Black Myth Wukong.

Black Myth Wukong How To Find All Skandhas

To unlock the Giant Shigandang boss in Black Myth Wukong, you have to find all Skandha locations in the game. Keep in mind that they are scattered across the map, and visiting all of them will take some time.

Skandha of Form

Start from the Forest of Wolves Keeper's Shrine and follow the path until you see a wooden bridge. Enter the forest and you'll find a Buddha head in the left corner; that's where the Skandha of Form is located.

Skandha of Feeling

Collect all 6 Buddha's Eyeballs and go to the Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat Keeper's Shrine. Turn left and defeat the Stone Vanguard. Interact with the rock and insert the Eyeballs in it to spawn the Shigandang boss. Beat him, and you'll get the Skandha.

Skandha of Thought

Reach the Valley of Ecstasy, Mindfulness Cliff Keeper's Shrine, and go forward until you find a wooden board. Drop down on the right side and walk up the hill to get to the stone head. Interact with it to obtain the Skandha of Thought.

Skandha of Choice

Walk to the Webbed Hollow, the Purifying Spring Keeper's Shrine, and move forward. You'll soon notice a pond on the left with a Buddha head sculpture inside. The statue is holding the Skandha of Choice.

Skandha of Consciousness

The final Skandha is a drop that you'll get after defeating the Giant Shingandang at Foothills. Keep in mind that you cannot get the resource if you haven't collected all the previous ones already.

• Location: Foothills, Verdant Path

Black Myth Wukong How To Find Giant Shigandang

Reach the Verdant Path in the Foothills and find the Supreme Inspector. After you defeat him and get the Somersault Cloud Spell, fly to the hill in the distance. When you get close to the waterfall, turn right and find the narrow passage through the mountains.

Follow the main path, and you'll soon stumble upon an open area. Keep the Cloud close to the ground because the Giant Shigandang will wake up and knock you down. If you're not careful, you can die from the fall damage even before the fight starts.

Black Myth Wukong How To Defeat Giant Shigandang

Defeating the Giant Shigandang is easy, as long as you keep your distance from him. The best position would be right outside of his shadow radius. When he slams his arms on the ground, he'll cause a massive shockwave, but when it ends, you'll be able to go towards him and attack while he's getting ready for another hit.
