C Tier Sorcerer Builds For Diablo 4 Season 3
While the Chain Lightning Sorcerer is one of the better leveling builds available to the class, it struggles to scale in the later stages of the game. The reason we have put the build on this list is due to how great it is during the earlier stages of the endgame, allowing you to farm some of the items required before respecing into a better scaling build. The build is a lot of fun to play, and it's visually impressive, sending huge bolts of lightning that bounce between your enemies, obliterating them into dust. Chain Lightning also received some indirect nerfs in Season 3, which are not significant enough to worry about. If you are looking for a fun starter build for Season 3, Chain Lightning is a great option.

B Tier Sorcerer Builds For Diablo 4 Season 3
The Firewall Sorcerer is another great entry-level build that we recommend you use at the beginning of your journey through World Tier 3 and 4. Similar to Chain Lightning, the build is not going to scale enough for you to deal with the hardest content in the game, but what it will do is provide you with a stepping stone while you farm all the items you need before switching to something with better scaling. The build did not receive any significant changes during patch 1.3, and with the addition of the new Seneschal Companion, it might actually be stronger than what we anticipate. Either way, the build will serve its purpose, and if this is something you are looking for, give Firewall a try.

The Ice Shards Sorcerer build is a great option if you are looking to speed farm Nightmare Dungeons, either to farm for items or to simply level up. With this build, you are going to rely on big Frost Nova explosions during AoE situations while machine-gun firing your Ice Shards when you are dealing with Elites or Bosses. The build does competitive damage and scales pretty well into the late game, but it does require a lot of specific items to make it work well. If you are looking for a very mobile build to run dungeons that can actually scale further into the game and deal with some of the harder content, Ice Shards could be the build for you.

The final build on our list is the trusty Arc Lash Sorcerer. This has been a very consistent build throughout the last few seasons of the game, and nothing much is going to be changing. The Ball Lightning changes mentioned above will affect the build a small amount, but nothing too significant. This is a very tanky melee-oriented Sorcerer build that aims to stay up close, annihilating its enemies with Arc Lash and Ball Lightning procs. It does great AoE and single-target damage, it's very mobile, and extremely tanky—all the qualities you are looking for while doing endgame content in Diablo 4. If you are looking for a stable and consistent build among the many variables within the Sorcerer class, then Arc Lash might be the build for you.
