Our first recommendation is a fairly simple one, but it can provide you with millions of gold over the long run. Each time you fill up your inventory in Diablo 4, you have the choice between salvaging the items or selling them to the vendor for gold. While the materials you get from salvaging are essential for most of the crafting systems introduced in Season 4, the required amounts are very low. By salvaging your inventory of items from just a few dungeons, you are going to have enough materials to last you for quite a while, so we highly recommend selling everything you come across.
Most items in the endgame are typically going to sell for a decent amount of gold, and Unique items in particular also have a much higher value than your regular Legendaries. Two-handed Unique weapons can sell for up to 500,000 gold, so if you end up farming some of the endgame bosses, make sure to grab all of them as they will earn you a ton of gold.

Tree of Whispers
Our second recommendation for farming gold is completing Tree of Whispers events and opening the Caches you earn as rewards. Each of these Caches will drop around a million gold while also providing you with a few items that you can sell to the vendor. These Caches also have a decent chance to be Legendary, which will not only drop better rewards in terms of items but also provide you with much more gold, anywhere between 4 and 7 million. Make sure to complete some events here and there, as the Tree of Whispers is a perfect source of passive income in Season 6!

Infernal Hordes
Infernal Hordes is a relatively new endgame mode, added in the previous season of Diablo 4. This is a wave-based encounter that forces you to choose between a few different kiss/curse mechanics while fighting enemies. In this mode, you will gather a resource called Aether, which can be spent at the end of the run to unlock a variety of different chests. One of these chests provides you with gold, and opening it after gathering hundreds, if not thousands, of Aether will reward you with a large amount of gold. Since its addition to the game, Infernal Hordes has become one of the best ways to get rich in terms of gold!
