Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred has not only added a ton of new content to the game, from the Spiritborn class, to the Mercenaries, as well as the Kurast Undercity and the Dark Citadel, but it has also made a lot of changes to many of the existing systems in the game. One of the new ways to progress through the game are the Torment difficulties, with each one of them making the game harder but much more rewarding. In order to unlock these difficulties however you are going to need to complete certain levels of the Artificer's Pit dungeon and since many players are returning to the game for the first time since its launch, they might not know where to find it. In this article, we are going to show you where you can find the Pit in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred!

The Pit is a scaling Diablo 4 endgame dungeon, which, as of the new Vessel of Hatred expansion, is now also used to unlock the new Torment difficulties. The Pit is located in the city of Cerrigar, which can be found in the Emerald Chase zone of Scosglen. Once you are in Cerrigar, you will find the Artificer's Obelisk right next to the armor and weapon vendors. The Pit has 200 levels, with each level scaling the health and damage of the monsters inside, making it the perfect place to test how strong your character is. Completing certain Pit levels will also unlock new difficulties, allowing you to progress further into the endgame of Vessel of Hatred. Here are the Pit levels that unlock these difficulties:

  • Level 20 - Torment 1
  • Level 35 - Torment 2
  • Level 50 - Torment 3
  • Level 65 - Torment 4

The Pit is also where you will level up your Glyphs, which are some of the most important upgrades in the game. The new Glyph level cap in Vessel of Hatred is 100, so you will need to push very deep into the Pit if you want to truly min-max your characters. Additionally, the Pit is a great place to farm Murmuring Obols, which will allow you to gamble for items at the Purveyor of Curiosities.

That’s everything you need to know about the Pit in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. The Pit is a key part of the endgame, as it serves both as a way to upgrade your character and to push you into harder difficulties. For more Diablo 4 news and guides, make sure to check out the rest of our website!
