Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred Season 6 Class Tier List
As per Raxx's favored tier list structure, we'll be ranking classes on a wide variety of metrics including Leveling, Endgame, and Casual Friendliness. Each metric will be scored from 6 to 1, with 6 being the worst of all the classes in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.
Rank #6 - Barbarian
Barbarian
- Leveling: 6
- Speed: 4
- Endgame: 6
- Survivability: -
- Casual Friendliness: 6
Unfortunately, after several seasons of being the best class in the game, it's finally time for the Barbarian to take a step back. This is not really a result of nerfs, but more so being left behind as the other classes received tons of upgrades over the last few months. Barbarians are still going to be viable and will have no issues clearing all of the content in the game, however, it's going to take much more effort than some of the other classes!

Rank #5 - Druid
Druid
- Leveling: 5
- Speed: 5
- Endgame: 5
- Survivability: -
- Casual Friendliness: 5
Druids continue to be one of the slowest leveling classes in the game, but in the past, they could compensate by being insanely strong in the endgame. Well, after the last round of changes, even the endgame is looking a bit rough for them. They are only a small improvement over the Barbarian class, but if you love the class, don't be discouraged, as they are more than viable for any content in the game... they are just slower.

Rank #4 - Necromancer
Necromancer
- Leveling: 3
- Speed: 6
- Endgame: 4
- Survivability: -
- Casual Friendliness: 1
The Necromancer, while being one of the simpler classes to play, is a bit behind the rest of the pack in terms of their speed and endgame viability. They have many strong builds that will be able to clear even the hardest content in the game, but they are very item-dependent and much slower than the rest of the classes. Nonetheless, the Necromancer remains a great choice in Vessel of Hatred, and if you love the class fantasy, don’t shy away from trying them out!

Rank #3 - Rogue
Rogue
- Leveling: 2
- Speed: 2
- Endgame: 3
- Survivability: -
- Casual Friendliness: 3
The Rogue remains a consistent choice coming into the Vessel of Hatred expansion. They continue to be one of the fastest classes in the game, both in terms of leveling and general clear speed in the endgame. A lot of new build opportunities are also going to be present, which makes the Rogue an amazing pick for Season 6.

Rank #2 - Sorcerer
Sorcerer
- Leveling: 1
- Speed: 3
- Endgame: 2
- Survivability: -
- Casual Friendliness: 4
Even though the Sorcerer received some nerfs for the Vessel of Hatred expansion, they are still one of the strongest classes in the game. With so many viable builds available to them, there is a bit of something for every type of content. They are by far the fastest leveling class in the game, and they are going to remain with some of the strongest endgame builds. If you didn’t try the Sorcerer in Season 5, don’t be afraid to dip your toes into Vessel of Hatred!

Rank #1 - Spiritborn
Spiritborn
- Leveling: 4
- Speed: 1
- Endgame: 1
- Survivability: -
- Casual Friendliness: 2
Unsurprisingly to many, the Spiritborn class is going to release in a very powerful state, with them having both the fastest clear speed in the game, as well as the strongest builds for the endgame. They are also pretty simple to play, while also having some visually stunning abilities. It's quite expected for Blizzard to release the class in this state, as they want to nudge players into getting the new expansion. Nonetheless, the Spiritborn is very fun, super fast, and it will quickly become the favorite class for many players!
