We can expect these NPCs to give us a deeper insight and knowledge of the world of DD2.

How to Get a Pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2?
Dragon's Dogma 2 describes pawns as "mysterious otherworldly beings devoted to serving the Arisen" on their website. Your first Pawn will be at your side from the get-go, ready to accompany you on your adventures from the very beginning. Additionally, you have the opportunity to enlist two more companions through The Rift, which is a realm where players can choose from a multitude of player-created Pawns. Here, you'll encounter a diverse array of companions and are likely to enlist two more Pawns to join your party.
The character creation feature in Dragon's Dogma 2 will allow you to craft your own main character. So far the customization looks amazing and we can't wait to use it upon the release of the game. Alongside this main character, players will be able to create their own Pawn.
Vocations can also be applied to Pawns. In Dragon’s Dogma 2 they serve as a playstyle that greatly influence the actions and abilities of your companion. On the other hand, Specializations offer unique abilities that provide specific advantages throughout your gameplay. Choose carefully, as the Pawn should compliment your build and playstyle.
