DTI: How to Complete Lana Lore Quest Chapter 1

The Dress to Impress Halloween update is here, and it comes with a lot of new content. As promised, there's a Lana Lore quest happening in separate chapters. In this article, we will help you with the first one. You'll find out where to find all of the keys and items in the first chapter of the Lana Lore quest, along with some tips. Let's get into it.

Getting Started

From the DTI lobby, head into the teleport. It will bring you to the Dress to Impress Halloween event. Find an arch with the chapter you want to play. Navigating to the first one will be easy, as the rest of them will be locked.

The Forest

You will be teleported to the start of the Lana Lore quest in DTI – a dark forest. Walk through the barrier to the left of the well.

• Tip: Now’s the time to turn off the jump scares if you're easily scared or very young. Simply click on 'Settings'.

Run to the House

After the barrier opens, take the right turn, and then you can walk straight ahead (no need to follow the path). Just be quick, as this part of the DTI Halloween event is timed.

• Tip: Run, there's no need to save your breath - there are no enemies or jump scares in this part of the game.
• Tip: You can definitely just follow your team.

   

The Real Task

A short cutscene will follow once you reach the house. Lana will ask you to retrieve some items for her so she can escape her home. In order to do that, you'll need to find all of the keys corresponding to the same-colored locks in the house. However, you need to beware of the monster lurking around.

Blue Key and Camera

The first key for the Lana Lore mission can be found in the barn, to the right of the house. Go up the ladder and you'll find the blue key. It unlocks the office on the second floor, located in her parents' bedroom. The camera will be on the left, behind the pile of boxes. Now head into Lana's room and leave the item in her luggage.

Purple Key and Teddy Bear

Head to Lana's parents' bedroom. On the left, next to the cabinets, there will be a purple key. It unlocks the garage outside the house. The teddy bear is placed on the wooden planks. Leave the toy in Lana's luggage.

Pink Key and Palette

While you're in Lana's room, walk to the pile of boxes – the pink key is behind them. Head downstairs and open the second door, the one with the pink key lock. The palette will be on top of the washing machine.

Red Key and Journal

The red key is in the kitchen, which might make it a little harder to get because of the monster. It's in the pot next to the door. You can have someone from your team distract it. The red key unlocks the basement, where you'll find the journal on top of a cabinet on the left.

Green Key and Greek Tales Book

The green key is another tricky one to get. It's next to the piano. Grab it and head to the parents' bedroom. Go up the ladder and unlock the attic. The Greek tale book is behind a pile of boxes.

Orange Key and Nail File

You'll be able to locate the last key in the Lana Lore quest next to the flower pot in the kitchen. Again, use a friend's help to distract the monster. This key will unlock the bathroom, where you'll find the nail file inside the bin. This is the last item Lana needs to escape her home.

Once you get all of the items inside Lana's luggage, you'll complete the first chapter of the new DTI quest. The second one is a lot harder and scarier to complete.
