DTI: How to Complete Lana Lore Quest Chapter 3

We already discussed two chapters from the Lana Lore Quest in Dress to Impress. Now we're going to take a look at the last one - the maze and the boss fight. This guide will help you navigate through the maze and prepare you for the encounter with the final DTI boss.

Navigating the Maze

The maze can be tricky with numerous traps and challenges, but there are clues to help you find your way through. As you enter this DTI challenge, look for the fireflies. You can use them as signposts, confirming that you’re headed in the right direction. Follow the fireflies carefully and be mindful of the numerous traps that can hinder your progress.

1. Avoiding Traps:

   • Spikes and Axes: There are various booby traps, such as spikes hidden in the floor and swinging axes. Make sure to jump over these hazards to avoid taking damage.
   • Tripwires: Watch out for tripwires that can trigger spikes or other traps. Staying alert and reacting quickly will help you navigate safely.

2. Tips on Following the Path:

   • Turning your graphics settings down can reveal a faint red line on the floor. Yeah, it's sort of like cheating but not really. This will help you find the right way easily. 
   • Continue to follow this line, taking the necessary turns (lefts and rights as indicated), and avoid stepping on any suspicious floor sections that could trigger traps.

    

Boss Fight

After clearing the maze, you'll be ready for the final stage of the Lana Lore Quest. You'll have to face off the final boss - Lina. This battle is split into several phases, each requiring different strategies.

1. Phase One: The Mini-Lanas

   • Portals will open, spawning multiple mini-Lanas. You have to defeat them as quickly as possible, using the axe.

2. Phase Two: Avoiding Water and Rocks

   • Once the mini-Lanas are defeated, rocks will appear in the arena. Simply jump on one of them so you can avoid the rising water.
   • After the water phase, large red lines will appear on the ground. Avoid standing in these areas, as rocks will fly towards you.
   • Afterward, red circles will now appear all over the DTI boss battle arena. Avoid these at all costs, as spikes will rise from them.

3. Phase Four: Lana Chase

   • Lina will descend to the arena and start chasing you. She's slow, so you don't have to worry about this part.
   • After chasing you for a short period, Lina will return to the center of the arena and unleash a ripple effect attack.
   • The safest strategy during this Lana Lore boss battle phase is to stand on the rocks.

4. Final Phase: The Last Stand

   • After Lina completes her ripple attack, the fight enters its final stage. The game will allow you to attack the boss and defeat it. Just spam click on her as quickly as you can to deal as much damage as possible. 
   • Unfortunately, if you fail to defeat Lina, you’ll have to repeat all of the previous phases.
