Fire Knight Queelign is an NPC in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and he is always ready to give you a hard time. As with most of the NPCs in the game, this one also has a questline prepared for you, but you need to find him first.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Fire Knight Queelign Belurat
The first time you will run into Fire Knight Queelign is in Belurat. Go to the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, and you can either kill the knight there or wait for him to pass. Go up the stairs and make a right-hand turn past the rubble. You will see a few shadows that you need to kill, but be careful because they can get aggressive. Once you've done that, you will enter an area with a giant tree in the middle.
Fire Knight Queelign will appear after a few seconds. His attacks include a standard thrust, a jumping thrust, a ranged homing fireball, and an upswing that ends with an explosion. Always try to keep your distance from him, so if you get hit, you have time to heal. Try to use your ranged attacks because he gets staggered easily. When you defeat him, you will be rewarded with the Ash of War: Flame Skewer and the Prayer Room Key. Now continue your journey in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, until you find him again.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Fire Knight Queelign Church of the Crusade
The second encounter with Fire Knight Queelign is at the Church of the Crusade in Scadu Altus. He will appear there even if you have never defeated him before. The quickest way to reach this location is from the Highroad Cross Site of Grace, on the other side of Castle Ensis.
Follow the road, then go left until you reach a big church on the edge of a cliff. Once you go inside, Fire Knight Queelign will attack you again. You don't need to do anything different than the previous time in order to kill him. However, here you will receive the Crusade Insignia, as well as a Scadutree Fragment that you can pick up at the foot of the statue. Don't forget to also get the Rune Arc from the corpse on the left.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Fire Knight Queelign Shadow Keep
In the last encounter with Fire Knight Queelign, you won't have to kill him; you only need to find him in the flooded area of Shadow Keep. To get there, go through Moorth Ruins and Bonny Village, then ride on Torrent until you reach the Church District. Simply follow the road, and you'll find the Church District Entrance Site of Grace. Now you need to jump across a few rooftops. Jump over to the section with the courtyard in the middle, go on the other side, and leap to the next building. Stay calm when the exploding zombie-like enemies appear from underneath; you can easily defeat them.
On the third rooftop, a cloaked enemy will attack you. Use a ranged attack and go back to the previous ledge to fire from afar. Hide behind the wall to avoid the fireballs. In the southeast corner, leap onto the diagonal beam, and try not to startle the tree monster below, so it doesn't see you. Climb to the top and proceed to the hole in the roof. Drop down onto the roof beams, and when you reach the floor, don't go through the doorway near the two crabs. Go to the opposite corner and use the Prayer Room Key to open the door that leads to Fire Knight Queelign.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree The Iris of Grace & Occultation
When you go through the door, you'll see Fire Knight Queelign curled up in a ball, begging Queen Marika for grace. When you speak to him, you have to decide whether to give him the Iris of Grace or the Iris of Occultation in order to kill him. The rewards for each option are the following:
- Iris of Grace: Fire Knight Queelign Spirit Ashes
- Iris of Occultation: Fire Knight Queelign's Greatsword
The Fire Knight Queelign Spirit Ashes will allow you to summon him in battle whenever you see fit.
