How to Complete Every Metallica Quest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

The Metallica challenges are divided into two quest chains: Encore Session and Metallica Quests. The Encore Session features ten different stages. Currently, there are a limited number of quests in each category, but more will be added daily. By taking on these challenges, you'll earn tons of XP, a new emote, and a Metallica poster as rewards. Metallica Encore Sessions Quests in Fortnite

  • Jam at a Jam Statue for 5 seconds to start an Encore Session (1)

To kick off the Encore Session, your first quest is to jam at a Jam Statue for 5 seconds. Head over to one of the new Jam Statues and jam for at least 5 seconds.   • Collect Metallica Music Notes (5)

For the second quest, you need to collect 5 Metallica Music Notes. Remember, you must start the Encore Session first before you can collect Music Notes. These notes can be found by eliminating players or by searching and opening chests and containers.

  • Spray Metallica concert images at different locations (3)

To complete this quest, you need to spray Metallica concert images at different locations. Use any spray 3 times at the designated spots. You'll find two spots at three different Named Locations, but you only need to spray 3 times. Check the image below for the exact spots on the map.

  • Visit the Floating Metallica Loot Island stage (1)

For this quest, simply visit the Floating Metallica Loot Island stage once it appears in the game. Look for the brand-new Metallica Stage on Loot Island.

  • Collect the Ride the Lightning item (1)

To complete this quest, collect the new Ride the Lightning item. It's part of the regular loot table and can be found in chests or on the ground, but there are fixed locations with a 100% drop chance. Check the image below for these exact locations.

  • Hit an opponent or a vehicle with the Ride the Lightning item (1)

This quest has three stages. You'll need to complete it by hitting an opponent or a vehicle 1, 5, and 15 times to finish the last stage. The easiest way to complete this quest is to hit a stationary vehicle 21 times, or if you're up for it, you can hunt players. However, hitting a car is much easier.

  • Travel distance using the Ride the Lightning item (500)

To complete this quest, you need to travel 500 meters with the new Ride the Lightning item. Simply grab the item and use it a few times until you complete the 500-meter bar.

  • Hit enemy players with a pickaxe (10)

To complete this quest, you need to hit players with your pickaxe 10 times. Since it specifically says players, it will not work on NPCs or guards. The easiest way to complete it is to follow players from the bus and start hitting them with your pickaxe until you complete the quest.

  • Crouch near Wasteland guards or bosses for 20 seconds (20)
