Doom Live Event
Fortnite players might already know that Dr. Doom has been secretly constructing a massive robot, called Mecha Doom, and he's up to no good! Dr. Doom’s ultimate plan involves collecting fragments of Pandora’s Box, which are scattered across the island. These fragments will power up his Pandora armor, setting the stage for an epic showdown between Doom and the Marvel heroes. Players need to stop Dr. Doom as they battle his forces and collect clues about his plans.
Fortnite has already introduced the "Day of Doom" limited-time mode (LTM), a game mode directly tied to the Fortnite storyline. However, it will end on October 4th, with the game focusing on the Live Event afterward. In Day of Doom, players had to stop Doom’s plans while dealing with a hostile signal growing ever closer to the island. The live event will obviously be the culmination of these events.
As the event date draws near, excitement builds for what is shaping up to be an important battle on Fortnite Island. With teasers already circulating in the form of battle pass items, loading screens, and in-game dialogue, it's clear that Epic Games has planned something epic for us.
