Weapon Adjustments
Waterbending Mythic - Buff
We got this new mythic in the last Fortnite update. It's linked to Korra's appearance in the game. Players can use waterbending techniques to throw sharp frozen water projectiles at enemies. With increased fire rate and damage, it's a weapon to look out for.
- Fire rate: 1.8 ➥ 2
- Damage: 22 ➥ 24
- Headshot damage multiplier: 1.25 (28) ➥ 1.5 (36)
- Ice shard projectile initial/max speed: 24 / 30 ➥ 48 / 60
- Hitscan distance: 4 ➥ 25

Chains of Hades - Buff
Fortnite Update 29.01 introduced Hades' mythic, part of the current Greek Mythology theme, and Update 29.10 buffed it. Well, it looks like this weapon is getting even more of a boost with this hotfix. The Chains of Hades are a dangerous melee weapon, with a long-ranged hookshot that allows you to "rip" enemies into range. The pull attack is going up to 60 and you shouldn't miss out on this weapon.
- Pull attack: 40 ➥ 60
- Hit 1 damage: 40 ➥ 55
- Hit 2 damage: 40 ➥ 55
- Hit 3 damage: 70 ➥ 80

The Reaper Sniper Rifle was nerfed by Epic Games. Some of its stats have been lowered in Fortnite, including the spawn rate.:
- Projectile speed: reduced by 16%
- Bullet drop: increased by 116%
- Spawn chance: decreased by 50%
Hand Cannon - Buff
The Hand Cannon is a semi-automatic heavy pistol that deals some pretty decent damage with a low rate of fire. With the current Fortnite hotfix, there's a better chance to get it.
- Spawn chance: increased by 60%
And there you have it, all weapon changes in the recent Fortnite hotfix. Make use of the buffed weapons and choose wisely if you want to use the nerfed ones. Stay tuned for more content.
