Fortnite players already know when to expect the launch of Chapter 5 Season 2 - the release date is set for March 8th, 2024. However, there's still one update left in the current Fortnite Season. Here's what changes Fortnite Update 28.30 might bring to Rocket Racing:

Please note that is possible that not all of these changes are available with Fortnite Update v.28.30. This list of updates has been leaked and it hasn't been confirmed by Epic Games. Leaks suggest all of these changes will be present in Rocket Racing but we can't be sure if it will be in the next update or with the launch of Chapter 5 Season 2. So far these leaks have been accurate.

New Car Bodies & Wheels

Fortnite's Rocket Racing mode is set to receive an upgrade with the addition of new car bodies. The game's roster will include iconic models like:

  • Ferrari F430
  • BMW E30 318i
  • Ferrari 458
  • Citroën C3 R5
  • Centio
  • Whiplash
  • And More

The new vehicles promise to make racing within the game even more fun. Fortnite Rocket Racing is offering players lots of cool options to suit their styles. Each car brings its unique look and performance to the track. 

Along with the new cars, Rocket Racing will get some new wheels to customize their ride:

  • Draco
  • Spinner
  • And More

New Maps

Fortnite's Rocket Racing mode is about to explore exciting new territories! The game is introducing 6 fresh new maps:

  • Aqueduct
  • Draino
  • Hydra2
  • Infinity
  • JackRabbit
  • Phoenix

These maps promise to add new layers of excitement and challenge to the racing experience. Each one of them will have its unique layout, obstacles, and terrain features. Are you up to the challenge? 

Thruster Boost Cosmetics

Rocket Racing is getting a stylish upgrade. Fortnite is adding thruster boost cosmetics. These cosmetic items allow players to customize the appearance of their rocket boosters, adding uniqueness to their vehicles. Thruster boost cosmetics offer a wide range of options for players to express their individuality on the track. There's something for everyone to enjoy!

Speedrun Leaderboards

Fortnite Rocket Racing is taking competition to the next level with the launch of Speedrun leaderboards. These leaderboards will track the fastest completion times for each map. You'll be able to compete against friends and other players for the top spot.  

Community-Made Tracks

Fortnite is showing off how creative the community is with community-made tracks. These tracks will be made by players for players. This will surely offer fresh challenges to racers. With the ability to share their own tracks, the Fortnite community gets more involved in Rocket Racing. This is the change Fortnite Rocket Racing fans are most excited about.

Death Races

Rocket Racing will be introducing death races. Players will have to navigate deadly obstacles and hazards scattered throughout the tracks. Currently, we don't know what Fortnite devs have prepared for us.
