Chasca is finally out, and those of you who accidentally got her while pulling for Ororon may now be wondering what in the world you should do for her teams. Well, to put it straight, it is both good and bad. Goon in the sense that you can make all sorts of unique teams, and bad in the sense that, similar to most other Natlan characters, she just doesn’t have the perfect teammates as of yet. Due to the unique way Chasca’s Elemental Skill works, she benefits greatly, and it is almost mandatory that she have 3 teammates with different Elements. While this may seem fun, it can also be limiting as you cannot use Geo, Anemo, or Dendro characters, leaving you with a roster of characters from the Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo elements. Couple this with the fact that you must also include various roles and that Chasca simply doesn’t work with some characters, and the pool shrinks even more. That being said, there are some decent teams she can be used in, and that’s what we’re here to show you!

Chasca Best Teams
Given her unique way of interacting with her teammates, Chasca loves being used in teams that have diverse elemental synergies. This means that you’ll want to prioritize building a team that can produce a ton of reaction while also having teammates support Chasca in increasing her damage and keeping her healthy and safe. Because, let’s be honest, flying characters don’t usually have the best defense; we’re looking at you, Scaramouche. So what can you do? Apart from her best hypercarry team, Chasca can be slotted into any team that consists of 4 different elements with a good sub-dps, support, and maybe healer or shielder. We’ll give you some examples below, so don’t worry!

Hypercarry Team

Chasca’s hypercarry team consists of her, Furina, Ororon, and Bennett. Furina and Bennett are here to provide Chasca with as much damage as possible, while Bennett also serves as a pseudo-healer thanks to his ultimate. The newly added 4-star character Ororon is also a great addition here thanks to his Electro element and decent off-field damage, helping Chasca reach the maximum output of her passives while also helping with triggering Nightsoul Bursts and supplying Chasca with energy.

When it comes to standard teams, you generally want to include one Cryo character, one Pyro character, one Electro character, or maybe a Hydro character. What you want to look for is a character that is able to shield Chasca when she’s up in the air, so this role can be filled by either Layla or Diona, with Layla being the better choice due to her bigger shields. The Pyro spot can be filled by either Dehya for her interruption resistance or Bennett thanks to his amazing buffs. The Electro position can be filled by Yae Miko for amazing off-field DPS, Ororon, or Fischl. Lastly, the Hydro position can be filled by Furina for her overpowered buffs, Kokomi for the healing potential and survivability, or Barbara.
Which characters you choose depend solely on you and what you have, but do not forget to have a total of 3 different elements in the team so that you can make the most out of Chasca’s talents. As a strong standard core, we recommend the following team:

We’ve already talked about what makes Chasca teams great and what you need about them, so all that’s left is to whip up some nice free-to-play characters to form a decent team for her. The team we’ve decided on is:

- Ororon
This is an accessible team consisting of Chasca and 3 4-star characters, with Barbara being available to everyone and Ororon being on Chasca’s banner, so you will likely have a good chance of getting him. Lastly, there’s also Bennett here, and if you’ve been playing during Fontaine, you’re bound to have a copy of him, but if not, you can always swap him for any other 4-star Pyro character, or Dehya if you happen to have her!
