Citlali is the first Cryo character to be released in a whole year and is definitely one that you might want to keep your eyes peeled for. She is a decent shielder who also provides great buffs in the form of Elemental Resistance Shread to both Hydro and Pyro teammates. Citlali Best Teams
Citlali will generally take on the role of a support in most, if not all, teams she is placed on. Her kit offers a decently sized shield, which is unfortunately weaker than the shields provided by Zhongli and Layla. That being said, Citlali’s shield can provide more Cryo application than Layla’s shield, and it also deals a decent amount of damage. Couple this with Citlali’s ability to reduce the elemental resistance for Hydro and Pyro, and you have yourselves a decent support who fits exceedingly well in Melt teams. This Mavuika Citlali team consists of:
Citlali and Xilonen are the two best supports for Mavuika. Both of them provide amazing utility to her in the form of various buffs and support tools. Citlali, more specifically, provides Mavuika with a decent boost to her Pyro DMG while also opening the possibility for Mavuika to trigger Melt reactions, which greatly benefits her personal DMG output. Couple this with the fact that Citlali can use the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City to further boost Mavuika’s damage, and these two make a decent core that can be used with any two other characters.

Citlali here once again excels at boosting Arlecchino’s Pyro DMG with her elemental shred and further boosts her damage with the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City. In addition, the shield she provides is of great importance to Arlecchino, as she likes to stay up close and personal with enemies and gets hit quite often as a result of that. Having a layer of added defense to the buffs that Citlali offers is certainly something that any Arlecchino team would love to have.

Here we once again have a main DPS Pyro unit supported by Citlali. As we’ve already said, Citlali shines the most when she’s used with units that can benefit from her strong Melt reactions, which are a cause of her Elemental Mastery scaling. In addition, Citlali’s fast Cryo application does wonders here for Gaming, who would love to constantly have the enemies be under the effect of Cryo when he’s jumping up and down. While this team performs slightly worse than the above two, this is mostly due to Gaming being DMG-capped because he’s a 4-star. That being said, this team is powerful enough to clear a ton of content, so do not underestimate it!
