Ororon is the newest 4-star character to be added to the game, and unlike some other 4-star releases that we’ve had in recent times, he is actually quite a decent champion to slot into your teams and play around with. Ororon excels in dealing Electro damage through various means, and he is best used when slotted into teams with Electro or Hydro teammates, opening up a ton of slots for him to be played. Although not a main damage dealer, Ororon provides a good chunk of support to the team with his Electro off-field application and off-field damage, which if used with the [Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City] makes him a great support for most, if not any, Electro or Hydro teams. Let’s see how to build him.

Ororon is a 4-star Electro Bow character that relies on applying the Electro element through various means, such as his Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, and Passive. Being a Natlan character, Ororon relies heavily on the Nightsouls Burst and Nightsoul Points mechanics to function, while also having a unique traversal mechanic in the form of a high jump. Being on the current limited-character banner with Chasca gives you the chance of getting him if you’re pulling for Chasca, and the good thing you need to know about him is that he works great even at C0, so you don’t need to worry about getting him to C6.
His Electro application is great thanks to his on-field Elemental Burst and various means of attacking enemies when he’s off-field, making him a great replacement for Fischl if you don’t happen to have her. In addition, his Energy generation and good use of the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City Artifact set make him a great support that can not only boost the damage of many characters but also help those with Energy issues.

Ororon Best Weapons
When it comes to weapon choices, Ororon can use almost any bow in the game, with the better choices being Elegy for the End or the Favonius Warbow for support builds and any Crit DMG% or Crit RATE% stat stick for his DPS builds, but we honestly recommend sticking more to support builds for Ororon as that is what he excels at.
Rank | W-Engine | Effect |
1 | Elegy for the End |
A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds. Increases Elemental Mastery by 60. When the Elemental Skills or Elemental Bursts of the character wielding this weapon hit opponents, that character gains a Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" effect for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" increases Elemental Mastery by 100 and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s. Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack. |
2 | Aqua Simulacra |
HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not. |

3 | Favonius Warbow |

Ororon Best Artifacts
For artifacts, there is no doubt that the best set for Ororon is the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City. Being an electro character, Ororon can easily proc the requirements for the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City, giving his main damage dealers upwards of 40% Elemental DMG bonus, which is just bonkers for a 4-star character. There is honestly no other set that comes close to usefulness, so if you haven’t already, you might want to farm some Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City pieces.

2-Piece: When a nearby party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst, the equipping character regenerates 6 Energy. 4-Piece: After the equipping character triggers a reaction related to their Elemental Type, all nearby party members gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for reaction-proximate Elemental Types for 15s. If the equipping character is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state when triggering this effect, all nearby party members gain an additional 28% Elemental DMG Bonus for reaction-proximate Elemental Types for 20s. The equipping character can trigger this effect while off-field, and the DMG bonus from Artifact Sets with the same name do not stack. |

Ororon Skill Priority
Given that you’ll mostly be using Ororon as a support, you do not need to worry about him dealing damage and focusing on his Normal Attack. Most of Ororon’s damage will come from his Elemental Burst, so you will want to max that out first, followed by his Elemental Skill for a bit more added damage. Lastly, you can level his Normal Attacks if you want, but they are definitely not mandatory.
