What is Over Mastery
Over Mastery is a feature that adds 4 random bonuses to a character for a set price of Mastery Points. The bonuses have different levels and can further boost your characters’ strength.
Over Mastery is unlocked at level 80 and is different for each character, meaning that if you get one set of bonuses on one character, you will not have them on your other characters.
Over Mastery comes in 3 levels with 3 specific costs in Mastery Points or also known as MSP.
- Over Mastery Lvl 1 – 700 MSP
- Over Mastery Lvl 2 – 1000 MSP
- Over Mastery Lvl 3 – 2000 MSP
Each of these levels grants 4 random bonuses, however, at Lvl 1 and 2 you have a higher percent of getting ATK and HP bonuses and the levels of the bonuses will be lower, where as in Lvl 3 the chance to get bonuses is spread out equally among all bonuses and you have a better chance to get bonuses with a higher level.
The bonuses that you can get from Over Mastery are as follows:
- Attack Power Up
- Critical Hit Rate Up
- Skill Damage Up
- Chain Burst Damage Up
- Skill Damage Cap Up
- Healing Cap Up
- Health Up
- Stun Power Up
- Skybound Art Damage Up
- Normal Attack Damage Cap Up
- Skybound Art Damage Cap Up
Given that Over Mastery is completely RNG based it will be the place where a lot of players will spend their Mastery Points to try and min-max their characters.

Best Over Mastery Bonuses
Given the numerous Over Mastery bonuses players might get confused on which ones they should be looking for when using Over Mastery on their characters.
The bonuses that we recommend trying to get are the following:
- Normal Attack Damage Cap Up
- Skill Damage Cap Up
- Skybound Art Damage Cap Up
The damage your characters do in Relink is capped when it reaches a certain point, and to increase your damage further you need to increase the stat known as Damage Cap.
Damage Cap is the most important stat in Granblue Fantasy: Relink as it increases the overall damage that you can do, so being able to increase your Damage Cap will in turn equal to more DPS, which is why we recommend looking for the bonuses that increase the Damage Cap of your characters.
