With Patch 30.0 of Hearthstone, players will finally gain access to the highly anticipated "Perils in Paradise" expansion. This expansion's theme revolves around a resort managed by Martin, a retired pirate embarking on a new journey of managing a tourist resort on a paradise island.
Each class in Hearthstone receives 10 new cards, including two Legendary cards, one of which is a Tourist. These cards are designed to represent various types of vacations or vacation activities, with each class embodying a specific aspect of these experiences. The new keyword, "Tourist," allows each class to experience the vacation style of another class, adding a unique twist to the gameplay.
As is tradition, beyond the thematic flavor, these 10 cards aim to introduce and enhance certain playstyles, making them more viable in the current meta. Check out all new Shaman cards below!

Shaman Cards Theme & Playstyle
For the Shaman class, the new cards explore the theme of an extravagant Naga cabaret. From the revealed Shaman cards, Blizzard intends to emphasize a couple of gameplay ideas for this class.
One primary focus for Shaman in "Perils in Paradise" is pushing the mechanic of cards that upgrade for each spell school played. Shaman, as part of its overall class fantasy, has access to most spell schools already, so Cabaret Headliner, Caress, Cabaret Star, and many other new Shaman cards can make this playstyle, previously only available to Mage, viable for Shamans as well!
The Tourist card for Shaman, named Carefree Cookie, is a Demon Hunter tourist. Cookie grants Shaman access to all Demon Hunter cards released in the "Perils in Paradise" expansion and has the effect, "After a friendly minion dies, summon a random minion that costs (1) more." Demon Hunter has access to numerous ways to summon Charge and Rush minions in Perils of Paradise. Combined with Cookie and Shaman’s evolve cards, this might create the basis for a solid evolve deck! Additionally, Cookie lets Shamans explore Demon Hunter’s vacation fantasy—extreme sports and skydiving!
