How to Beat Every Terminid Enemy in Helldivers 2

There are eight enemy types within the Terminids faction, and most of them have different versions depending on the difficulty level you are playing at. Here is the full list and instructions on how to defeat them.

Scavengers & Little Spewers

Starting with the smaller threats, Scavengers and Little Spewers are not much to worry about. Scavengers have minimal damage output and mediocre speed, primarily serving to distract you. On the other hand, Little Spewers, the green version of Scavengers, can slow you down with their bio spit, making them a slightly higher priority. Both enemy types can be easily dispatched with one shot or a grenade.

Pouncers

Pouncers, the smaller version of Hunters, are not significantly damaging but can leap long distances and stagger you, which can be annoying. They are quick, so it's best to eliminate them quickly if you're planning to retreat. Like the smaller foes, a grenade can take out many at once.

Hunters

Hunters are a more considerable threat, known for their abundance and ability to swarm you from all directions. They perform side jumps to avoid direct charges, making them tricky to deal with. Prioritize taking down Hunters early to prevent them from overwhelming you. Strategies like Eagle Strikes can be useful in critical situations.

Warriors

Warriors are relatively average in terms of threat level, with moderate speed, damage, and health. A shotgun blast to the face can take them down easily. Be aware they will do a final melee attack once their head is gone.

Hive Guards

Hive Guards are the armored version of the Warriors, but they are slow and rank low in your kill priority during large swarms. They can shield other enemies, making them more of a strategic threat than a direct one. Aim for their unarmored spots or use a Railgun for an efficient takedown.

Brood Commanders

Brood Commanders are the bigger version of the warrior, and they can summon reinforcements, making them a priority in large battles. The Breaker shotgun is effective against them, and like Warriors, they will charge once their head is gone.

Bile Spewers

There are two versions of the Bile Spewers. You might think shooting them in their giant back is the most effective way to kill them, but directing your shots into their heads is a far more efficient method. The second version is their green armored variant. Their head is heavily armored, so either shoot their vulnerable parts or opt for armor-piercing guns like the Railgun. Also, one grenade is enough to kill them.

Stalkers

Stalkers can be challenging if mixed within a swarm. They can go invisible but are still relatively easy to spot. It is crucial to search for their nest; otherwise, you will eventually get overrun and killed since they deal a lot of damage.

Chargers

Chargers are dreaded by many, especially in higher difficulties where they appear in large numbers. Dodging their charges and hitting them from behind, using orbital strikes, or the Hellpod drop are effective strategies. If you have the Railgun unlocked, the most efficient method is to aim for their leg armor, then finish them off with a few shots from your primary weapon.

Bile Titans

Bile Titans are the largest and most robust units, posing a significant challenge with their melee and ranged attacks. Below level 20, strategems and clever use of Hellpod drops can be effective. Above level 20, the Railgun becomes a crucial weapon for taking down these behemoths efficiently. Eight to ten shots to the head are enough to kill a Titan with the Railgun. The best strategy is to kite and eliminate any smaller threats before you start focusing on the Titan.

And that concludes our guide on how to beat every enemy from the Terminid faction in Helldivers 2. Make sure to prioritize killing the most important enemies first when getting swarmed; otherwise, you will most likely get overrun and die.
