The latest Democratic Detonation Warbond in Helldivers 2 added a wide variety of new weapons to the game. Three new primaries, one secondary, and a brand new grenade are all available for players to try out against the Terminid and Automaton factions. One of these weapons is called the BR-14 Adjudicator, and it's the newest addition to the Marksman Rifle category in the game.

While the BR-14 Adjudicator is the cheapest weapon in the new Warbond, you still need to spend 1,000 Super Credits in order to try it out. In this article, we are going to go over whether or not the new BR-14 Adjudicator weapon is worth getting based on its stats and performance on the battlefield.

Weapon Type Description Stats

Marksman Rifle

Deliver righteous judgement to your enemies with accuracy. This armor-penetrating assault rifle is best used against smaller groups.

Damage: 80
Capacity: 25
Recoil: 50
Fire Rate: 550

The BR-14 Adjudicator can be found on the first page of the new Democratic Detonation Warbond. The rifle only costs 20 Medals, making it the cheapest weapon from the new bundle. When comparing the BR-14 Adjudicator to other Marksman Rifles, we can see that it has a noticeably larger ammo capacity and an increased fire rate, but it does less damage per shot. The weapon also has Medium Armor Penetration, which will allow it to pierce through some smaller armored enemies, such as Hive Guards.

The BR-14 Adjudicator has two different firing modes, including semi-auto and full auto, as well as three different zoom levels, which are 50m, 75m, and 100 meters. You are going to have 6 magazines with 25 rounds each before fully running out of ammo.

BR-14 Adjudicator Performance & Summary

Helldivers 2 BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle

Sadly, the BR-14 Adjudicator feels like a hybrid between a Marksman Rifle and an Assault Rifle, with none of the strengths of both types of guns. The weapon is very inaccurate for a Marksman Rifle, with the bullets rarely hitting the target in any long-range situations. The recoil is also massive, making it quite hard to spray and deal with multiple enemies at the same time. It does decent damage overall, but it does not stagger enemies as much as some of the other options, which can quickly become a problem when you are being overrun.

Even though it's cheap to buy, we don't recommend using this weapon over some of the other options in both the Assault Rifle and Marksman Rifle categories. It does not feel very good to use, and we can't really find any unique situations in which it shines. Until the weapon is buffed in a future patch, we recommend sticking with the Liberator or the Diligence, as they do their jobs much better than the BR-14 Adjudicator.

Pros Cons
  • Good Damage
  • Medium Armor Penetration
  • High Capacity
  • Low Stagger
  • High Recoil
  • Inaccurate At Long Range
  • Doesn't Destroy Bug Holes / Fabricators

That is everything you need to know about the new BR-14 Adjudicator weapon from the Democratic Detonation Warbond in Helldivers 2. While we didn't find much success with this weapon, you can always try it for yourself and see if it fits your current play style. Unlocking it is relatively cheap, and aside from the stats and performance, it looks and sounds nice. For more Helldivers 2 news and guides, check out the rest of our website!
