The latest Personal Order daily mission requires 20 Trooper kills if you want to grab some extra Medals. While experienced players have already seen many of these enemies out and about, new players might be wondering how they look and where they can find them. What Are Troopers in Helldivers 2?

Troopers are the standard and most common enemy type from the Automaton faction in Helldivers 2. They have a few different variations in terms of their equipment, with melee weapons, jet packs, and other small changes between them. Troopers are easily dealt with, and the only issue you might have is if you stop prioritizing them in favor of the larger enemy types. As Troopers are part of the Automaton faction in Helldivers 2, they can currently be found on the western part of the map, occupying planets from the red zones. Troopers can be found on any difficulty setting in random places and POIs around the map, and they can also come from a Bot Drop event. As they are the most common enemy in the Automaton faction, you should not have any issues finding them for the Personal Order.
