The second phase of Version 2.6 is fast approaching, and while we will not be receiving any new characters in this phase, we will get the opportunity to pull for two of the strongest and most versatile characters in Honkai: Star Rail. The second phase of the version 2.6 banners will feature reruns for both Acheron and Aventurine, allowing those who’ve missed getting them during the first parts of Version 2.X to finally add these powerhouses to their roster. Phase Two Character Banners
Version 2.6 phase two will feature two character banners known as the Words of Yore and Gilded Imprisonment. Both of these banners will feature re-run limited 5-star characters and will share the same pity and 4-star rate-up characters. Discover more details about both limited character banners below.

The Words of Yore banner will give players the chance to summon for the 5-star limited character, Acheron. Ever since her release during Version 2.1, Acheron has shown that she is without a doubt one of the strongest characters in Honkai: Star Rail. Her ridiculous damage, coupled with her great single and AoE damage potential, makes her a great pick for almost any team. Additionally, she’s also able to work perfectly well on a ton of F2P teams, making her a good pick for even F2P players. That being said, if you do decide to open up the wallet and spend a bit, her Eidolons are not going to disappoint you. Alongside Acheron players will also receive a boosted drop rate for the following 4-star characters:
- March 7th (Preservation: Ice)
- Pela (Nihility: Ice)
- Sampo (Nihility: Wind)

Gilded Imprisonment

The Gilded Imprisonment banner will give players the chance to pull for the 5-star limited character, Aventurine. Similar to Acheron, Aventurine first made his appearance in the second phase of Version 2.1, so it is indeed amazing seeing both of them re-running at the same time. And just like Acheron, Aventurine proved to be one of the best Preservation units that one could pull for. His refreshing shields, high damage, and overall amazing survivability made him a go-to for almost all follow-up attack teams, while also allowing him to be viable in any other team as well. If Acheron was the premium DPS at the time, then Aventurine was the premium tank, and that has hardly changed. Aventurine is a good character to invest in, and definitely one that you should consider having on your roster. Just like Acheron’s banner, the following 4-star characters will also receive a boosted drop rate during the Gilded Imprisonment banner.
