Honkai Star Rail All Elements

As already mentioned, Honkai Star Rail has a total of 7 Elements. Each of the Characters in the game belong to a certain element and do elemental damage matching that element. Honkai Star Rail uses this to give enemies weakness to specific elements, with each enemy having 2 or more elements they are weak to. Below you can see all of the seven elements and their Weakness Break Effects:

Honkai Star Rail Enemy Weakness and Weakness Break Effects

Each enemy in Honkai Star Rail is weak to at least 2 Elements. The elements an enemy is weak to are shown above the enemy’s Health and Toughness Bar. By using various other means in the game, or characters like Silver Wolf, you can add more elemental weaknesses to enemies to more easily trigger Break Effects.

When an enemy's Toughness Bar reaches 0, a Weakness Break happens. To do this, attack the enemy with the element they are weak to. Weakness Broken enemies take more damage for one turn, so it's smart to match the elemental weakness of enemies during gameplay.

Is There a Best Element in Honkai Star Rail

Unlike other RPG games, there isn't a single best element in Honkai Star Rail. This is because there are no specific weaknesses between elements. Enemies don't take more damage if hit by their weak element, and they don't take less damage if hit by an element they aren't weak to.

All elements are equally strong. However, using elements that enemies are weak against reduces their Toughness, so it's a good strategy to use characters with elements that are strong against the enemy you're facing.
