Fugue is the newest Nihility character to be added to Honkai: Star Rail. While she is part of the Path of Nihility, Fugue is in fact one of the best Break supports in the game. She greatly increases the damage of Break teams and further boosts the whole team’s damage with various debuffs, such as DEF reduction. If you’ve been a fan of the Break Effect meta and are looking to expand your roster in that regard, then Fugue is just the character for you. Fugue Best Teams
As we’ve already mentioned, Fugue is an amazing Break DMG support; as such, you’ll generally want to pair her with allies that benefit from Break Effect and deal mostly Break DMG. This includes characters like Boothill, Firefly, and Rappa. In short, Fugue can be classified as a better Harmony MC, and below we have three sample teams for her!

This Fugue premium team consists of:

All of the characters in this team benefit from Break Effect in one way or another. Firefly is one of the best Break Effect characters in the game, and with the addition of Fugue, she’ll be able to break enemies twice, dealing even more damage than usual. Couple this with Ruan Mei’s ability to keep enemies broken for an additional round and Lingsha’s sustain, and you have one ridiculously overpowered team that will be able to clear MoC without any issues.

This alternative team consists of:

Here we once again have almost the same core, with the only exception being the use of Rappa rather than Firefly. That being said, this alternative team can also work by swapping in Rappa for either Boothill or Himeko to make it slightly more F2P friendly while still keeping most of its damage. The idea behind this team is the same as before, with the only difference being the main DPS.

This free-to-play Fugue team consists of:
- Himeko
- Fugue
- Harmony Trailblazer
- Gallagher
If you do not happen to have any of the premium Break Effect DPS units, such as Firefly, Rappa, or Boothill, you can always use Himeko to fit in the gap. While Himeko is not as powerful as some of the other units, she can still deal a lot of damage, and best of all, you can easily get her through the game’s standard banner. This is also the same for the Harmony Trailblazer and Gallagher, who are way more F2P friendly compared to their premium counterparts but still get the job done when needed. While this team can, and will likely not perform as well as the premium teams, it can still deal decent damage and help you get some nice MoC clears.
