Honkai Star Rail Version 2.7 Maintenance Time and Pre-Install Guide

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 is right around the corner, and those of you who’ve been eager to get your hands on the new version and finally pull for Sunday this Wednesday are but just one step away. The version will be released on December 4, 2024, but before we finally get the chance to spend our Stellar Jade, we must first wait for the lengthy maintenance to finish and then download the new version.

Luckily, for those of us who hate waiting, we can download the new version starting as early as today so that we can log in straight after the maintenance is done and begin pulling. This guide will teach you how to pre-install the game early and give you all of the information you need to know about the maintenance so that you’re ready for this Wednesday.

Maintenance Time and Duration

The Version 2.7 "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" maintenance will begin on December 4, 2024, at 06:00:00 (UTC+8). The developers have stated that the maintenance is expected to take approximately 5 hours, meaning that we’ll be able to log in at around 11:00 (UTC+8). As always, you will not be able to log in to the game during the maintenance, so make sure you complete all of your daily tasks for the day so that you aren’t left hanging.

Compensation Details

Due to the maintenance and the game’s downtime, the developers will issue compensation to the players. This compensation will consist of 300 Stellar Jade and will be obtainable by all players who’ve reached Trailblaze Level 4 or above before the start of the maintenance on December 4, 2024, at 06:00:00 (UTC+8).

The compensation will be sent via the in-game mail system within 5 hours after the update is complete, and it will be claimable until the end of Version 2.7, so be sure to get it before it’s gone.

Pre-Install Guide

The pre-installation for Version 2.7 is available starting today, and you can pre-download the version on all of your devices, be it PC, Mobile, or PlayStation. However, before starting the pre-install, you should first make sure you have enough available space to download the full version. 1. Open [HoYoPlay]
2. Find the [Game Pre-Installation] icon next to the [Start Game] button
3. Click the [Game Pre-Installation] icon

Mobile

1. Launch [Honkai: Star Rail]
2. Find the [Resource Pre-Download] button in the bottom-right corner.
3. Tap the [Resource Pre-Download] button

PlayStation

1. Launch [Honkai: Star Rail]
2. The game will automatically begin pre-installing if you have sufficient storage (44.5 GB)
