How to Get a Rare or Better Outlaw Keycard in Fortnite

Step 1: Locate the Outlaw Chest

Before you can open an Outlaw Chest, you first need to find one. Epic Games introduced Outlaws alongside Midas, and you can find the Outlaw Room inside any Black Market.

You can access this room using a Common Outlaw Keycard, which was a community challenge reward—meaning everyone now has one!

Step 2: Check Your Outlaw Keycard Progression

To upgrade your Keycard, follow these steps:

Open the Quest tab in Fortnite’s menu.
Navigate to "The Outlaw Keycard" quest.
You'll see the Outlaw Keycard Progression, which has levels ranging from 1 to 20.
To unlock the Rare Outlaw Keycard, you need to reach Level 10.

Step 3: Complete Outlaw Keycard Quests

You earn Keycard levels by completing Outlaw Keycard quests. There are 4 different quests, each with 5 stages. Every completed stage grants 1 level.

Here are the available quests:

Rob Vaults (0/3)
Eliminate bosses or guards (0/25)
Spend Bars (0/1,500)
Collect Boons or Medallions (0/2)

To reach Level 10, complete any 10 quest stages in total. Once you do, the Rare Outlaw Keycard will be unlocked!
