Like any other gacha game, the major appeal behind Wuthering Waves is its characters. However, unlike traditional games, you can only get most of these characters through the game’s gacha system.

How to Unlock the Gacha
Unlocking the gacha in Wuthering Waves happens after you have played the game for a bit. Depending on how you play, you might unlock it at around the hour mark.
Here is how you unlock the gacha in Wuthering Waves:
- Open [Wuthering Waves]
- Play the [Main Story]
- Complete quest [First Resonance]
- Unlock [Convene]
As you’re playing through the main story of Wuthering Waves, you will eventually see the Main Quest [First Resonance] that will have you talking to Baizhi.

After you’ve talked with Baizhi and undergone your physical exam, you will get a notification that you have unlocked the [Convene] function.
This is how the gacha system is called in Wuthering Waves. After you’ve unlocked this function, all you have to do is press F3 on your keyboard or click on the star-like icon on the top right.
