Infinity Nikki finally dropped in most regions, and it has just as many cute animals and adventures as we had hoped for. The game reached an insane amount of pre-registrations prior to its launch date on December 4, 2024, or December 5, 2024, depending on your time zone.

It seems like fans are now thrilled to explore all the quests, challenges, and cosmetics that it has to offer. Sooner or later, you'll have to learn how to take pictures to finish certain objectives. In this guide, we'll show you how to take photos by using the built-in Photo Mode in Infinity Nikki. Let's get started!

Infinity Nikki How To Unlock Photo Mode & Take Pictures

Infinity Nikki will allow you to take pictures the moment you manage to progress past the opening prologue. Once this happens, you'll trigger a cutscene, which will show you how to take a photo of Nikki with one of the NPCs in the game. To use the camera, you need to hold down the left bumper, which is LB on Xbox and L1 on PS5. This will give you access to the quick menu.

Then press the down button, and the camera icon will appear on the left side. After you open the application, you'll get a few different options to choose from, and they will allow you to take full advantage of the Photo Mode. Click on the Adjustment Box and the following list will appear:

  • Brightness
  • Exposure
  • Filters
  • Focal Length
  • Rotation

It's important to note that if you're playing Infinity Nikki on your mobile device or PC, you'll see the camera icon in the top-right corner. Moreover, no matter which option you select from the list above, you'll be able to unlock many other new poses and lighting options after you learn how to upgrade your camera.

As previously stated, if you want to gain access to new poses in Infinity Nikki, you'll have to upgrade your camera by using the so-called Upgrade Packs. However, you won't find them by default. Instead, you have to earn them as rewards from photography side quests, such as Risky Photography. To use the Upgrade Packs, open Photo Mode and click on the tool icon located at the top-right corner of the screen.

Select it, and you'll open the Camera Modification screen that will allow you to apply the Packs and increase the level of Pose, Lighting, and Filter stats. This will provide you with new tools to use for your photography quests. Unfortunately, the more you level up, the more Upgrade Packs you'll need to boost these options even higher.
