Throne and Liberty - Evasion & Endurance Explained

Throne and Liberty offers its players the freedom to choose whether they want to put their combat skills to the test in the PvE or PvP sections of the game, and the latter can reach up to hundreds of players at once. However, each mode has specific features that you need to be aware of.

Before diving into the PvP experience, players have to take into account two major Traits: Evasion and Endurance. In this guide, we'll explain how they work in the world of Throne and Liberty, and we'll answer the question of which one is better. Let's get started!

Throne and Liberty Evasion Explained

Evasion is one of the most valuable Traits in Throne and Liberty, and it can be especially useful during combat situations in PvP. It is used to stop you from getting hit completely, and this brings a huge tactical advantage. Endurance is all about reducing the damage you take after someone attacks you, while Evasion can generally lower the odds of standard attacks landing on you in the first place.

However, it's important to mention that both Traits scale at the same ratio. In other words, 10 Evasion points are equal to a 1% chance for Evasion. Moreover, the Trait in question can be applied to all kinds of attacks, including Ranged, Melee, and Magic. This is useful against enemies that have already reached higher levels. Unfortunately, it cannot stack, so choose your battles wisely.

Throne and Liberty Endurance Explained

Endurance can be applied to Melee, Ranged, and Magic attacks, just like Evasion. However, it can't make other players miss their target; it can only reduce the damage you take from the hits, making you way more resilient than usual. Moreover, it reduces the chance of getting hit by a Critical Hit of some damage types, and the scaling works the same as it does with Evasion.

Every 10 Endurance equals a 1% reduction for every point over the enemy's probability of landing Critical Hits. Basically, it works by comparing your stats to the ones of the other players. This means that if your opponent's Critical Hit Chance is 200 and your Endurance is 300, you'll reduce their Critical Hit Chance by 10%. If you want to boost your endurance stats and survivability, don't hesitate to use this Trait.

Throne and Liberty Evasion Vs. Endurance

Without a doubt, both Evasion and Endurance in Throne and Liberty have their own advantages and disadvantages. However, keep in mind that choosing which one of them to use will strongly depend on your strategy and gameplay style. That's why we always encourage players to experiment until they find what fits them best.

In any case, we have some pointers that will make your decision easier. If you're just starting out in PvP, it's better to pick Endurance because you'll be getting hit quite often anyway, and you'll need to be more resilient to damage. However, once you reach Tier 1 Gear Sets, it's a good idea to start using Evasion.

Keep in mind that these Traits are practically useless in PvE unless you want to create a tank build, which isn't everyone's cup of tea in this mode.
