Throne and Liberty - New Weapon Release

Throne and Liberty might have been around for a while, but it still finds ways to surprise its fans. The developers posted an update recently concerning a brand-new weapon entering the game, and fans are more than excited to dive into their favorite adventures with more power than ever.

The Spear is one of the most versatile weapons that the title has seen so far, and the best news is that we won't have to wait too long to get it. Now it's time to take a look at the Spear's abilities, passives, and release date. Let's get started!

Throne and Liberty Spear Skills

If you're a fan of crowd control and exploiting your enemy's weaknesses, the Spear would be perfect for you! This weapon is designed to fit almost every gameplay style, and its abilities are great for most combat situations, especially considering that it targets the opponent's defensive skills.

Moreover, if you want to protect your allies, you'll be able to sweep around and stun your enemies before quickly striking one more time. Let's see the Spear's abilities in Throne and Liberty:

Flash Barrier

• Dodge ranged and magic projectiles and then deal damage on targets within range.

Brand Javelin

• The Brand Javelin is a directional ability that can be charged to travel farther distances.

• Enemies hit will be Branded for 9 seconds, increasing the rate of critical hits and critical damage received.

Cut Wings

• Stab foes and attack twice:

  • Each attack inflicts Weaken and will deal additional damage on targets with 5 Weaken stacks. Each stack decreases the target's Magic, Melee, and Ranged Magic Defense.

  • Ability to use Spiral Slash afterward. Spin and attack the target, plus any additional targets within range 2 times. This attack also inflicts Weaken and will deal additional damage on targets with 5 Weaken stacks.

Gale Rush

• Quickly dash to your target.

  • If the target is an enemy, you will deal damage and gain increased attack speed. If they are stunned, sleeping, feared, or bleeding prior to the attack, this attack’s cooldown will reset.

  • If the target is an ally, you will swing your Spear in a small circle around their position. Any enemies caught in the attack will be briefly stunned.

Smash Blade

• Render your enemy unable to use their Defensive Skill for a period of time.

Throne and Liberty Spear Passive Abilities

Apart from all the amazing skills mentioned above, the Spear has some powerful passives that will boost your offensive strength. Additionally, you can chain them together to quickly eliminate even the most powerful enemy in Throne and Liberty.

Ultimate Grip Strength

• Upon inflicting damage using a Spear, Greatsword, Staff, or Longbow skill, two-handed weapons have a chance to temporarily deal additional damage.

Power Intensification

• Each time Weaken lands, temporarily increase Attack Speed.

Deadly Decisive Strike

• Deal additional damage to enemies that have low health when landing critical hits.

Battlefield Dash

• If you inflict a target with Weaken and then they die within 10s, your attack speed may temporarily increase.

Sadist’s Rage

• When taking Skill Damage, your Magic, Melee, and Ranged Heavy Attack Chance may temporarily increase.
