Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is one of the most versatile games when it comes to quests, and each one of them will not only give you a piece of the main story but also some amazing rewards that you can use during your adventures. One of the 36 missions available in the game is called Piece of Cake.
However, it's not as easy as it sounds. Although it's a side quest, it can give you valuable benefits and experience, and you'll get the task during A Needle in a Haystack after you speak to Squint. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl How To Complete The Piece of Cake Quest
When you accept the Piece of Cake quest in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, try to find the entrance to the cave as fast as possible. Go back down to the mill and exit. Open the map and you'll spot an area that you need to visit. Once you get there, you'll notice a house. Enter it and use the hole in the floor to get inside the cave. It's important to mention that the space below is filled with Bloodsuckers. These creatures can turn invisible, and if you don't know how to defeat them, you can click here.
Try to equip either a shotgun or another automatic weapon before entering the cave because you'll need a good amount of bullets. Make sure to stick to the left wall and be aware of your surroundings constantly; sometimes you'll have to turn around and shoot a Bloodsucker coming your way. If they attack you from the front, just start fighting back; they can't go anywhere from this point.
Soon you'll arrive in a region with yellow puddles. When you see them, use your Detector to find the Artifact for Squint. You'll see the item close to the end of the cave, but don't worry if you forget where it is; the Detector will start emitting a beeping sound to alert you of its location. Take the Artifact, turn around, and go back to the location you came from. Use the ladder to get out of the cave and return to Squint at the top of the mill.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Should You Keep The Artifact
Like most other missions in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the Piece of Cake quest will give you multiple options for completing the task you were given. In this case, you can either give Squint the Artifact and get the Ward Sensor in return or you can kill the NPC and keep the Artifact for yourself.
However, it's worth mentioning that the Ward Sensor is very important for the completion of A Needle in a Haystack. The good news is that you'll be able to get both items as long as you don't choose the honest path. Simply hand over the Artifact, wait until the task is marked as complete, and kill Squint. This will allow you to keep the Ward Sensor and loot his body for the Artifact as well.
